Discussion Unknown Number High-school Catfish Spoiler

What the hell did I just watch? And what the hell was this person thinking?

I'm in shock that someone would do such a thing to their own child. And that she doesn't seem to have any focus on what she actually did.

The daughter didn't seem to grasp what her mother did when they told her but the father acted on it right away.

Was she totally jealous of her own daughter?

Most shocking docuseries on Netflix. Totally didn't see that coming. I don't even think I would have let her taken part in that if I was running if. Agree she's scum

Including the interview with her not only added to the suspense and the potency of the Big Reveal, but if anything only made her seem crazier and less sympathetic than she might have otherwise. So perhaps they included it, not out of some misplaced sense of compassion or journalistic desire to seem neutral (though I think that could certainly be defended), but instead, ironically, to paint her as a bigger villain yet!

Exactly.

They allowed her to 'hang herself' with her interview after being released from prison - and she did!

I agree. Hearing her deluded pathetic excuses didn't exactly give her a sympathy card it made her WORSE. Vile.
