Discussion Unknown Number High-school Catfish Spoiler
What the hell did I just watch? And what the hell was this person thinking?
I'm in shock that someone would do such a thing to their own child. And that she doesn't seem to have any focus on what she actually did.
The daughter didn't seem to grasp what her mother did when they told her but the father acted on it right away.
Was she totally jealous of her own daughter?

just finished watching, gosh i feel sick. kendra is disgusting. i cannot believe she has no shame to even appear in this doc?? god what a pure soul lauryn has, i was so shocked at her reaction when she found out it was her own mother and didn;t even question her or have any real reaction, of course this would have been shock, i guess compared to the clip at the end she seemed to have changed her mindset a little about their relationship. i feel so sorry for her, she seems like such a sweet soul, and felt even worse when owen said that he doesn't talk to her anymore in a way that seemed like he was angry at her?? like surely he would empathise with her knowing the amount of betrayal that she went through. i feel like netflix shouldn't have involved kendra in this, and shouldn't have given her the time to pathetically make excuses for her behaviour, at every given point she downplayed and made an excuse.
