Discussion Unknown Number High-school Catfish Spoiler

What the hell did I just watch? And what the hell was this person thinking?

I'm in shock that someone would do such a thing to their own child. And that she doesn't seem to have any focus on what she actually did.

The daughter didn't seem to grasp what her mother did when they told her but the father acted on it right away.

Was she totally jealous of her own daughter?

Is the show not gonna address the fact that she literally told her own daughter everyday to kill herself? Just kinda breezed past that.

And all the sexual content as well as telling her she is ugly. I have no words. This women needs to be locked up forever.

Now that the reveal is spoiled, you may as well just read an article on the case. It’s a decent show, but the reveal is most of it

Honestly it helped validate my decision to go no contact with my mom - it’s an intense watch, but I was honestly shocked at how familiar some of Kendra’s behavior was.

I agree they should have raised that more with Kendra directly, but I don't think they breezed past it. At the end, when Kendra was talking about how much she loves her daughter and is looking forward to being reunited with her, they were showing the text messages on the screen, as if to demonstrate that there was a huge discrepancy between the loving message and the thousands of abusive messages.
