Recommendation If Netflix rolled the new layout for you - report it, don’t just take that crap

If you are one of the unlucky bastards they are beta testing the new layout for the TV app you already understand the title. Don’t just struggle with it, it is pointless. It is not usable. You see more titles on your phone than a freaking 84in TV. It makes NO SENSE. You have to scroll till your life is half over to go through a decent amount of titles. No upcoming titles anymore.

Report it so it never stays. They are looking for feedback

Recommendation American Primeval on Netflix is damn good

It is frankly surprising that I found out the show existed randomly yesterday night when I came upon the IMDB most anticipated shows of 2025 and then by 3am the entire show released on Netflix. I wanted to watch one episode a day to pace myself but i just caved and binged the whole show, and it is the BEST western I've seen in YEARS. Highly recommend.

Recommendation I’m obsessed with the show “MO.”

It’s informative, funny, heartwarming, heartbreaking. It touches ALL aspects of life in the U.S. as a Muslim, Jew, Hispanic, a man on the spectrum. And it all focuses around a family of refugees from war torn Palestine.

Don’t do what I did and sleep on this show.

Recommendation Missing you?

Just started it yesterday because it was recommended to me, thought I’d like it because the Harlan Coben world is usually pretty good; but I’m also starting to feel like once you’ve seen a few, you’ve seen them all. It’s like the old Lifetime network with repeat actors and actresses, but for whatever reason, I just can’t get into this one. I’ll have to wait a bit and give it another shot. Idk if there’s too much going on, or if I’m not wild about the casting, I cant put my finger on it.

Recommendation Looking for netflix series that are COMPLETED already with multiple seasons (not limited series). Im sick to death of them cancelling every second good fkn show

Just finished KAOS. Thought it was unique, creative, and incredibly well done. Its obviously been cancelled. As was archive 81, lockwood & co, Mindhunter, CAOS (sabrina), midnight club, the society, 1899..... all this suspenseful and engaging shows that I've LOVED.

Suggestions for series with at least 2 seasons and that have a proper conclusion/ending?

Recommendation Best Netflix documentaries that I may have missed?

I’ve seen quite a few documentaries on Netflix and am looking for something recommended. What do you recommend based on what I’ve seen? Favorites are marked with a *

American Murder

American Nightmare*

The Deepest Breath*

Fyre

Girl in the Picture

Into the Deep*

Into the Fire*

The Staircase

Sweet Bobby

The Tinder Swindler

I’ve seen more but I’m drawing a black rn. Also tried Wild, Wild Country but the scenes of nudity were too much. Likewise, tried Don’t F with Cats and I can’t stand watching animals being harmed and the same would go for Blackfish.

Recommendation Long Story Short is phenomenal

Not the movie, because apparently there is a movie with the same name, but the new show from the people behind Bojack Horseman. I'm currently on episode, and it's everything you'd expect from the BoJack crew and more. It's funny, charming, witty, heart-breaking, and moving. The premise of jumping around to different timelines also allows it to tell some really interesting stories. If you like Bojack, it's definitely worth checking out!

Recommendation Underrated Netflix Gem You Need to Watch!

Just found The OA and it’s criminally underrated. Mind-bending plot, emotional depth, and major Black Mirror vibes.

If you’re bored scrolling,,,watch this. You won’t regret it.

What hidden Netflix gem do you recommend?

He finally tells us exactly what happened, how he healed and who helped him the most.

He thanks all of us that prayed for him and sent him wishes of great health and healing.

He's as entertaining and talented as ever.

Recommendation I HIGHLY recommend Toxic Town!

Typical British production with incredible actors, well-written script, and compelling story. Thought it might be too much of a bummer but then I saw who was in it and gave it a shot. Watched all four episodes yesterday and stood up cheering when it ended.

Recommendation Just started Peaky Blinders… why didn’t anyone shake me sooner?!

As in… wow. I feel robbed for not watching this sooner. Peaky Blinders is everything I want in a show sharp, intense, stylish, and full of bite. Every scene feels cinematic, the pacing is tight, and the characters? Complex AF.

It’s not just a gangster show it’s about trauma, ambition, and power plays wrapped in designer suits and razor hats. Cillian Murphy eats every scene. The soundtrack? Chef’s kiss.

If you’re into smart, gritty crime dramas like Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, or Narcos this is your next obsession. 10/10. No notes.

Recommendation PLEASE add a "leaving soon" section

Does anyone believe they would benefit from a "leaving soon" section added to the Netflix app? My watchlist is so long and I am sure I miss out on watching titles because of them getting removed. If they added a "leaving soon" section to my watchlist (similar to Hulu's "expiring"), I would definitely always start on their app before watching something on my TV. If they added "leaving soon" for all the titles leaving Netflix, I probably would not watch any other app! What are your thoughts on this? Do you ever think how great it would be to have a "leaving soon" section added to the app or to the filter on the Netflix Mobile app?

If you're Into historical fiction or action. This shit is fantastic. Can't belive this came out a decade ago I don't think I've fully rewatched it since it came out.

Recommendation Recommend Netflix shows or movies for a dental office

I work in a dentist office and I like to keep the tv in my operatory on, most of my patients are older folks and I need some Netflix shows or movies to play throughout the day that are appropriate and don’t have any awkward sex scenes or something, thank you.😂

Recommendation The Residence is very entertaining!

It gives the vibes of the Knives out/Glass onion “greatest detective ever” stuff. It’s so tongue in cheek about it. They even say in episode 1 they want the guy Daniel Craig plays in the detective movies to investigate. The episodes are named after top nextflix shows/movies (the fall of the house of Usher, Knives out…) and that’s a cute nod. The show is actually really fun and a good mystery. It’s probably not winning Emmy awards but it’s entertaining and a fun watch and I would suggest friends watch it.

Recommendation Binge recs please

I’m going through a rough time, my significant partner just passed and I need something to watch. I have no motivation to do anything so I figured maybe watching a show will help. Just want something lighthearted & funny to keep me distracted.

Recommendation need help finding a new show

I like to wind down at night watching a good show, however it's been ages since I've really been into something. I like intelligent and well written shows, where u get deeply involved with the characters and story and where there's also something important at stake, like real world issues. I have liked and like more comfort shows like The Office, Parks and Rec, Curb etc., but they tend to bore me in the end and feel a bit superficial/like a waste of time so that's not what I'm looking for. I would like something to really dig deep into, something that'll engange me and something that's preferebly about real world issues/power/politics/business.

I've enjoyed Succession, BB, Better Caul Saul, Game of Thrones, House of Cards to name a few, and have lately been giving Mad Men a shot (currently in the last episode of season 1, but not really feeling it). Debating whether to start West Wing/The Newsroom/The Wire/Billions/Six Feet Under instead.

Anything u can recommend? Would greatly appreciate it :))

Recommendation PSA to all the Agatha Christie loving, Jessica Fletcher obsessed cozy mystery lovers out there - “The Residence” and Uzo Aduba’s consulting detective Cornelia Cupp ARE IT!!

I saw it was a house whodunnit and was watching. OMG, it’s Shondaland? Yes please. In the Whitehouse!?? Fun fun! Wait, who is this actual modern warm brilliant and LIKEABLE woman running the show? Crazy Eyes was an awesome character but Uzo Aduba is now firmly our thoughtful birding private eye in my head now.

Dare I say I like it more than the Knives Out movies? I do. And I like those movies a lot.

Recommendation SANDMAN and DEPT Q are must watch shows

Pretty much what the headline reads. Sandman is truly a marvelous production. Tom Sturridge IS Morpheus. Voice, demeanor, everything. The cinematography is gorgeous.

And Dept Q—my gosh, I could watch it for just Karl and Akram’s bickering alone🤣🤣

Older millennial stylist trying to live her fashion dreams in New York. She and her two best friends are in periods of growth in their personal and professional lives. This is a coming of age story but for seasoned adults. The characters are in their 30s, mature and talented but still trying to find their footing.

If you liked Sex in the City, Girlfriends, Gossip Girl, Entourage, The Game, RHONY, RHOBH, Friends, How I Met Your Mother or any other show about adult friends in the big city, then this show is for you!!!
