Now I got to see this guy's film. They watched Sam Howell this preseason and deduced that he's a clear upgrade. Was DTR taking the hike and immediately punting the ball into the stands? I'm so curious.

He was so bad that it was making it impossible to even evaluate our receivers, so they sat him for the 3rd game and let McCord play the entire game. DTR was clearly getting cut after that. The only I guess surprise is that McCord was unimpressive enough that they decided to get Howell.
