Hello! In Finnish schools we were taught to read and write, using the help of "tavuttaminen". Tavuttaminen is basically breaking up words into segments, so it's easier to learn how to read. We also used it in writing. It looks like this: Moi! O-len Moun-tain-rein-deer, o-len var-sᎥ-nais-suo-ma-lai-nen.
