I saw this when it went viral on tiktok, clicked the link to the fundraiser and the latest donor's name was "Nate Higgers". Shows the kind of people who are donating.

2.9k

u/majoombu May 07 '25

I mean, she called a child a racial slur. Of course it's those kinds of people donating. What's really telling is how much she's actually getting from the fundraising.

628

u/Wes_Warhammer666 May 07 '25

Every time I see another post about her it's gone up by 200k

Fucking disgusting that she's earned 20x of what I do in a year just by being a racist piece of shit.

51

u/icaboesmhit May 07 '25 edited May 07 '25

To a child! I mistakenly thought it was unprovoked, still, wtf?!

I mean at this point I'm not even mad. This is just what insane wealth inequality allows people to do. I work in medicine and barely make enough to pay my rent. This lady decides to be a racist subhuman on camera and is now rich.

With that kind of incentive, it loops back around to: who can blame her? Why work hard and die poor when you can just pander to bigots with disposable income?

The whole system needs to be burned to the ground.

This is what America gets for fucking up reformation.

We need to stop letting the worst Americans get away with everything.

Edit:Thank you to u/Late_Parrot for reminding me that I mean Reconstruction.

296

u/Late_Parrot May 07 '25

I think you meant Reconstruction? The Reformation was a religious event in Europe between Catholics and the newly founded Protestants.

160

u/Few_Ad_5119 May 07 '25

Oh right, Reformation was between The Catholics and the Protestants. I forgot as well.  I should write that down and nail it to my door.

32

u/DeluxeHubris May 07 '25

If you write it 95 times you'll remember it better

They should have let Sherman cook

83

u/DionBlaster123 May 07 '25

It is wild how the U.S. basically let everyone who committed treason totally off the hook

ANY other country where something like that happened, all those motherfuckers were hanged without a fair trial. You can argue whether it was right or wrong, but you cannot argue that that is not what happened.

39

u/ncfears May 07 '25

Well that's what happens when the President is assassinated and his VP that takes over is openly in support of the failed secessionists.

9

u/WobbleKing May 07 '25

Exactly… Lincoln’s assassination is perhaps the most tragic death of all time. What could have been 😢

10

u/Tasgall May 07 '25

Lincoln's biggest (only?) mistake was in reaching across the aisle in a naïve attempt to bring the country together. Instead, it was an incentive to assassinate him, and led to our worst president who ensured the civil war would remain unresolved for centuries more.

→ More replies (1)

27

u/Annath0901 May 07 '25

ANY other country where something like that happened, all those motherfuckers were hanged without a fair trial.

To be fair, 1865 was less than 100 years after the country was founded on principles which included, among others, a specifically enumerated right to a fair trial.

I'm sure plenty of people would have liked to see the entire confederacy razed, but that'd mean tossing out the same Constitution they'd gone to war to defend.

30

u/Handleton May 07 '25

The alternative is trials and reparations. The argument that the crime is too large to resolve is exactly how we got here.

14

u/cluberti May 07 '25

The original “too big to fail” honestly, with disastrous outcomes that only became apparent some time later.

There's always some ridiculous justification. It's never that they're racist, it's always that they're somehow the victim, "righting a wrong", or tangentially benevolent.

It's just so insane that they're rallying around someone that called a fucking child a racist slur and people try to validate it by strawmanning. How do you get more satirical than that? Like everything else. It's just so fucking stupid.

110

u/Kittenkerchief May 07 '25

Stupidity is way more evil than I thought it was going to be growing up.

17

u/baddoggg May 07 '25 edited May 07 '25

I find it so disheartening and demoralizing. I tend toward cynicism but I always had hope that we were better and more advanced. I just struggle with the fact that we aren't further developed as entire species and then everyday my idealism is further diminished and my cynicism validated. It's just difficult to reconcile that this is what we are as a species and all our advancements are being used to further regression instead of the betterment of humanity.

I want to believe that people are good at their core and that the majority of us are decent. These past few years have made that really difficult to hold onto.

Was pulling my hair out last night trying to get my friends to understand that donations of $88 dollars and $18.89 were white supremacist shit and not some "inside joke" with the Mom.

64

u/3BlindMice1 May 07 '25

That's pretty blatant stuff though, it can't have been too hard to convince them. Though I guess the numerology stuff looks pretty wacky if you haven't seen it before

There's some truly garbage people out there.

Even here on reddit, there's people celebrating this as a "proxy race war," while insisting some weak "but-what-about-ism" justifies a gattling of racial epitaphs in public space directed a child.

52

u/_picture_me_rollin_ May 07 '25

I saw a donation with the comment “why bend the knee to them when you can bend the knee on them”. As if not being overtly racist and calling kids the N word is somehow bending the knee.

5

u/Helenium_autumnale May 07 '25

No kidding. The implication in that statement is that treating someone as an equal would be, to them, an intolerable concession.

These people are not well.

120

u/sraydenk May 07 '25

$700k, but this is out there forever. That money won’t last, but she will always be that person.

I hope her community has that one spiteful old lady that hates people that brings it up constantly. Like “oh, you want her to help with the community garden? What’s her name? You know, that one that called that kid at the park the n-word”. Or “looking for someone to do your nails?  I heard the lady that called the kid the n-word at the park is terrible at it. Stay away from her.”

29

u/DaFiff May 07 '25

"That money won't last"

I don't know, if I could, right now, buy a nice house outright with no mortgage I'd feel pretty good about financial security.

People that behave this way aren't usually too bright though, so wasteful spending is probably still a likelihood.

72

u/JaneAustinPowers May 07 '25

She does not seem like the kind of person who makes smart decisions and will waste that money on dumb shit.

20

u/dreadpiratesmith May 07 '25

Yea, if you can piss away 700k you're a special kind of stupid

24

u/Weak-Doughnut5502 May 07 '25

700k really isn't that much.

If you wanted to retire on it, you'd be looking at a 28k/year retirement on a standard 4% withdrawal rate.

If she spends like 70k or 100k of it a year it'll be gone within a decade.

I had a friend who passed last month unexpectedly due to an undiagnosed heart condition. she was 35 and leaves behind two toddlers. the kid's father, another friend, passed a few years ago.. I was glad we were able to raise almost $100k for those kids and took it as a reflection of her character as she was an amazing person and our circle isn't rich by any means.

Then, a couple weeks ago a 26yo was killed on the job. he leaves behind a pregnant fiance and a 1yr old baby. I felt proud people in the industry donated from far and wide and raised $125k for her.

both very tragic instances but they both kinda restored my faith in humanity...

and then, this shit.. 3/4 of a million so far for some racist c*nt?

I HATE IT HERE.

If anything, things went completely off the rails somewhere around 1997. Think about it: if I told you Elton John, Barbara Streisand, Bryan Adams, and Journey all had Billboard Hot 100 singles in a year that wasn’t in the 80s, you’d probably think I was bullshitting. Let’s not also forget that 1997 was the year the worst U2 album (Pop) came out, and an album entirely in German went platinum (edit: in the US).

Shit got weird in 1997.

What I’ve come to realize is that we were deluded that things were “getting better” and the reality is that the bad guys were always there and had been hiding out to a degree until they felt confident enough to be open.

64

u/Novenari May 07 '25

Honestly I think it was getting better. I think the amount of misinformation and narrative you can push online and especially social media is the issue.

The assumption would be the idiots in the town square wouldn’t convince rational people. But they convert people like a cult would, not just to use buzzwords. They build a big enough block and then push and push. Could see this early with conspiracy theory nuts and flat earthers. Fringe and just, “Oh it’s harmless, they’re stupid just laugh it off.” But those populations have grown and they build momentum the bigger they get.

Same with fringe far right views. Can say, oh, liberal policy and facts should work, but humans are prey to emotional arguments. Stoking anger and fear and hate is a lot easier than trying to sit people down to look at an argument based on facts and logic.

So the liberal approach needs to have leadership look at the factual issues, and aim to implement policy based on science and evidence… but not get there by arguing it’s what’s right or makes sense. Need to develop emotional appeals and arguments to reach similar end goals. Not easy with how every major social media platform is a huge cesspit and owned by big money now though

I can't even imagine the backlash if anon hacked that donation site and exposed all those contributors.

130

u/Tripperbeej May 07 '25

What backlash? You think these people don’t surround themselves largely with like-minded (small-minded) friend and family? Most of them would probably be celebrated for their generosity to the cause. We all live in bubbles to a large extent. It’s just that hers is most likely a bubble of fucking ignorant shithead racists.

Also fwiw...fuck that racist grifter.

u/TheSpookying May 07 '25

I'm thinking about all the fundraisers going on in the world. Palestinians desperately trying to escape Gaza so that they and their families can survive. People begging for money to pay for rent or medical bills and getting nothing.

I'm thinking about the GoFundMe I started earlier this year where I asked for $4k to pay for my cat's medical bills for kidney failure. I got $100. Which I'm super grateful for, but it didn't really put a dent in anything.

None of these people who need help are getting it. But this racist piece of shit who called a child a slur is getting well over half a million dollars simply for being racist.

What a revolting, backwards place the world is sometimes.

92

u/deviant324 May 07 '25

Does she even have a use for the money? Like was the fundraiser just started out of pitty or what’s going on?

104

u/Lord_Rhombus May 07 '25

She claims she is being harassed and feels unsafe. Needs to relocate.

142

u/GoredonTheDestroyer May 07 '25

That's White People for "I got called out by the members of my community."

She alleged that her personal info, including her SSN, were leaked, and that she now needs to move.

Personally my response to that is "get fucked."

94

u/-RedditPoster May 07 '25

Tbf, literally every US name + SSN were leaked a while ago.

4

u/vagabond_dilldo May 07 '25

Hope your cat is doing better.

4

u/TheSpookying May 07 '25

She's doing a lot better now. We didn't think she was gonna pull though, but she's doing great.

18

u/Twitchtv_Isirus May 07 '25

Yup, I had to pay 9k for my cat medical bills. Wont get any help with that at all, and then I get to see shit like this. People just giving a racist so much money for nothing really, other then showing her racisms. Maybe I need to tell people my cat is racist.

3

u/ginger_whiskers May 07 '25

I mean, cats do look down on black people. And white people. And... everyone, really.

The IRS says maybe?

177

u/Lexail May 07 '25

Even if it's just $1 from 700,000 people, that's 700,000 more people than it should be to give a racist money for being racist.

204

u/Speederzzz May 07 '25

From what I've heard it's a lot of 14 dollar and 88 dollar donations (famous hitler references)

68

u/Radiowulf May 07 '25

I saw one for $1488.00.

47

u/Catsdrinkingbeer May 07 '25

Yikes. Just.. eww all around on that.

41

u/wasdlmb May 07 '25

The latter is a Hitler reference(8-8=H-H=heil Hitler), but the former is home-grown American white supremacy (14 words, basically the motto of those fucks). Our problems didn't start with the Austrian and they won't go away with his memory

Even if the math worked out such that it was the maximum amount of people, it would be too many people.

What

3

u/fuqdisshite May 07 '25

yeah, i think the sentiment was that even if it was ONE person that gave 700k$ then that would still be ONE too many...

Entitled racist white lady plays the victim to the surprise of no one. The money on the other hand, goes to show how much being a piece of shit has become popular now that they've been validated.

11

u/nankerjphelge May 07 '25

Yep, this is what Trump has wrought. When the leadership of a country traffics in racism, grifting and corruption it signals to the common people that it's perfectly okay for them to behave the same way. After all, if the president can be racist, corrupt and grift the people and get away with it, why shouldn't the rest of us?

And that's how a society declines into its worst form, and all pretenses of social cohesion and justice break down and decay. Welcome to the Banana Republican States of America.

30

u/KnobbyDarkling May 07 '25

The amount of fucking idiots I've seen making excuses and supporting this woman on Facebook is mind boggling.

When my wife had to get a life saving heart transplant at 40, we raised $6000. Guess I'll have to be racist if there is a next time.

19

u/MDLmanager May 07 '25

Your country is doomed. If you weren't in Idiocracy territory before, you officially are now.

30

u/Kroadus May 07 '25

Sounds like everyone in the comments forgot that maga has literally taken over the country. I’m surprised the number isn’t higher

23

u/TheCuriousCrusader May 07 '25

After watching Trump obtain 70+ million popular votes it's just not all that surprising. Yeah, these morons are out there, and they're more emboldened than ever to fight their "culture war".

Honestly, the pair who drove by the black family's birthday party with guns and confederate flags would probably get a similar type of support nowadays.

23

u/Drewsifer1979 May 07 '25

And people wonder how Trump got elected? This trash bag is a prime example how.

14

u/terrymr May 07 '25

Shit I could use an extra $1000 can I just mildly insult somebody for money ?

26

u/V-symphonia1997 May 07 '25

I made the mistake of watching a YouTube video about this & checking the comment's section.

Lots of racists justifying this shit.

There's no hate like Christian love as the saying goes.

Plus of all the things you could donate your money to, they choose this shit.

Fuck this timeline so much.
