Discussion 5070TI - Asus Rog Strix or Gigabyte Aorus Master

Hi guys, I’m currently looking to get a new graphics card (5070 Ti) and I’m torn between the Gigabyte Aorus Master and the Asus ROG Strix. Which one runs cooler, offers better performance, and has more overclocking potential? The price is the same for me, so I’d really appreciate any advice to help me decide. Thanks!

Why overpay on custom cards? No point, the cheapest and most expensive card will be within 1-2%

The cheapest 5080 will still slap the most expensive 5070 Ti while price will be similar

You absolutely should not pay 5080 price for a 5070 Ti

I’m in an interesting situation because the lower- to mid-tier 5080 cards are about 15% more expensive than these. I can get the 5070 TI at a solid discount.

I would avoid Gigabyte, so get the Asus

May you explain why?

Mediocre paste and putty, they degrade/pump out after a short while. They went radio silent just like Asrock, Igorslab doesn't release any update after Gigabyte basically silenced him.

But you can try your luck if you want, I rather bought Asus.
