Penguins happily swimming in a pool-like pond. Summer is coming in Antarctica and in some places the ice melts creating ponds.

I remember hearing once that penguins are the most hydrodynamic animals on the face of the earth. And do so by creating a series of mini drag forces that result from the texture of their fur (feathers), that when summed up, create less drag than something that is largely smooth (like a dolphin). I don’t know if there’s any truth to this. However, this video gives me some evidence that they are zippy little critters in the water. 😃
