I've been noticing a trend in this sub, and it feels a lot like kink shaming. Shitting on consentual, safe sexual content because it's gross, but finding other consentual, safe sexual content good is not logical thinking. It ties back to old colonial ideas of civilization and purity, and it's honestly just immature.
Its not just porn its everything. Morality is subjective and therefor meaningsless in the bigger picture if you cant anchor it into something objectively. Its all opinions..
That's a false choice. We can objectively measure the harm caused by shaming, and we can objectively value consent because it prevents harm. It's not "meaningless", but also doesn't need to be divine. Also arguing whether morality is objectively meaningful in the "big picture" is just a thought experiment.
Who said morality only revolves around harm? You cant proof that nor does it have scientific or empirical evidence. Its just your personal belief formed by your social environment, nothing more.
