Can you imagine being paid to come in to work, and the one SINGLE job you're expected to do that day is to stick a bunch of laminated cards on sticks in a wall? Then go home?!

If that's the case, then they DEFINITELY aren't taking their singular job seriously enough.

I would definitely move or remove them while waiting, without commenting.

That or keep saying "ow, what was that?" as I wait to see if they notice

Same! Whoever thought that was a good idea was clearly not thinking at all. Dumb ideas should have consequences. I am one of those consequences 😅 I would take them all down and re mount them elsewhere in the room.

I see 2 parts of that bench where OP can sit without going to reddit or getting any surprises when standing.

It's like complaining of a pole in front or back of parking space in an EMPTY PARKING LOT.
