Does this connector seem like it’s going to get a lot of debris and water from the tire? This is how it comes stock. I've not noticed this on the GT and GTS.

It’s a treaded tire. It’ll fit regular will pick up dirt and debris from the ground.

I wouldn't worry about that. I'd be worried if it's going to rub the nut

That's a cable gland. There's no electrical connection there, it's just a pass-through for the cable. Doesn't matter if it gets dirty.

As long as it doesn't rub the tire you're OK.
