Just took it our for a quick 10 min ride. People were right this tire is waaaay more smooth and the carve is crazy. I checked the psi set at 12 before and after and it’s holding but I’ll continue to check and I don’t hear any bad sounds. Yea the carve on it just keeps going you could fall off if you’re not careful lol it does kick up dirt in the fender and you get the sound from that though. It’s nice to finally be able to ride on a tire I can ride at higher psi on the FM stock treaded I kept it around 6-8 psi.
Glad you got it, this was definitely a learning experience and it seems you came out on top. Make sure the fill it with some sealant. And enjoy your new tire. If you’re going to keep on rippin, I’d invest it a bead breaker, or vice lol. Float on -o-
For funneling water efficiently to prevent hydroplaning it's correct orientation. Not sure if it makes any difference other than that. Maybe the tire has better dirt traction going forward if it were reversed but not sure
