Sounds like an issue with the footpad sensors. Look at the app while connected to the board and see if you can engage them by hand.

OP: "Something is wrong, can you fix it? I won't tell you what though. I mean, if you really want to know then you can ask or, like, whatever."
Can you be any more lazy??
I mean, please, there are many people who would gladly help you out and share their knowledge, me included, but you have to give us a bit more than "it won't activate balance".
The absolute bare minimum you'd need to provide:
- What model of board are we speaking of?
- What did you already figure out? If the board has a status bar (again - would be nice to know the model we are speaking about), you should at least have checked if both halves of the footpad sensor activate properly when pressed, indicated by the corresponding half of the status bar lighting up blue.
- Following up to 2.: Describe what you observe using a bit more than a single sentence.
- When was the last time the board has been working properly? Did you change anything in the meantime, disassembled and reassembled parts of it maybe? Or are you wearing different shoes than usual?
...wait, did you possibly just mount of shame once and then ran here asking for help?
Usually, providing more information and some good quality pictures (or even better - a video) greatly increases people's willingness to dedicate their time into trying to help, and therefore increases your chances in fixing your issue.
Additional relevant info, probably more than is actually needed to provide some initial help, but still useful to know, and therefore is best shared proactively, without the need for someone else asking:
- is it a stock board or a VESC based board?
- if VESC, then what voltage values are you seeing within VESC tool for each half of the footpad when you press down on them?
- what kind of foot pad is on there?
- how's the grip tape looking? Any peeling along the edges?
- has the board, or specifically the front footpad, come into contact with water at any time? Driving in rain? Tumbled in a puddle?

Try re-plugging your footpad cable. Also provide more info about your board and ideally send a video illustrating the issue.
