Air Traffic increasing?

Anyone else notice there's been an increase in planes flying overhead? Lots more wide body traffic especially.

If there are more aircraft flying into the Ottawa airport I would treat that as a good thing rather than a bad thing as it means more service.

My question would be whether this reflects a change in approach paths or whether it is more traffic. I hope it is the later.

Air traffic to YOW has been increasing as they’ve added more flights post pandemic (but not yet pre pandemic levels) so maybe that could be it?

I have actually noticed this, especially this summer. Doesn't seem to be too annoying though.

I've noticed this out in Kanata as well. There seems to be more air traffic on all sides.

Definitely a plus for the city I'd say (except for a helicopter the other night that flew over us at around 1,250 ft according to Flightradar)
