[Romano] Giovanni Leoni to Liverpool, here we go! Deal agreed with Parma for Italian 18yo centre back. No loan, never discussed… Leoni joins #LFC now as part of Arne Slot plans. Fee around €35m with sell-on clause. No convincing ever needed as Leoni wanted Liverpool.

But isn't 35 million a bit low, we were talking about 40 million before and then is it right to sell a very important player in mid-August?

Guess he was always going to go with how much interest he was generating. But fee doesn't seem great, and I felt like club should have pushed for a year loan seeing as they had so many potential buyers.

There's a sell on clause I think, and Liverpool generally like to include very achievable add-ons so could be a better deal hidden under the surface.

They've made a fair bit of money in sales this summer, so time to bring in some good replacements.
