Politics Happening Now: Downtown Phoenix Fox News Protest

Post image

This morning saw another strong protest in downtown Phoenix in front of the Fox 10 News station and Phoenix PD HQ. (7th Ave and Washington).

Protesters urged everyone to resist the lies and propaganda the Murdoch family pushes through Fox News and its affiliates.

Please remember to stay polite in this post, trolling or being rude to others on this site is not welcome. If you want to debate the effectiveness of protests or the topic of the protests, I highly recommend posting on /r/azpolitics sub.

PS: everyone knows Fox10 is not Fox News, but their parent company is the same.

Where are the signs for when Hamas slaughtered babies in cribs? FWIW I’m not arguing that Israel is innocent, only that Palestinian supporters seem to conveniently forget that Hamas is just as violent and is in some ways a bigger threat to Palestinian peace than even Israel

There are absolutely two sides to this. But:

Deaths by Hamas: 1,200

Deaths by Israel: 53,000 with another 120,000 injuries.

There is absolutely no way that is "equal".

That wasn’t my point. And Israel has been so devastating only due to their larger army and support from other nations, including the US. You’d be crazy to think the numbers wouldn’t be flipped if Palestine were receiving weapons and aid instead of Israel. And Palestine wants to wipe out Israel, Israel just wants to wipe out Hamas. There IS a difference despite the atrocities on both sides. As a nonreligious gay man, I would much rather live in Israel than Palestine. There very much is a difference and that matters

Israel just wants to wipe out Hamas

They must think there's Hamas in "every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse..." because there won't be so much as an outhouse or doghouse left when they're done.

There are plenty of bad people on both sides, the ones in control. The average people like you and me, they could have lived together just fine. But that's another whole discussion.

They think that because there IS Hamas in every school, warehouse and farm house. Hamas has committed its own war crime by using civilians as human shields. That doesn’t mean Israel has to bomb them and kill civilians- don’t get me wrong. I’m not excusing their atrocities, but Hamas is also creating the scenario for civilian casualties as well
