Depends on the Tree, Iron woods and Desert Oaks and even Olive trees don't break, Eucalyptus and Palo Verdes and Pines on the other hand are car killers. Especially eucalyptus, the main tree might say up, but it will drop some nasty branches (like what happened to OPs 528i).

The bottom line is that the victim usually loses out. Even if you get your money, you still have time wasted on the phone, dealing with insurance, getting estimates, dropping off the car, getting a rental, picking up the car, taking time off from work to do a lot of this stuff. It all adds up.
Ya, I will give American Family credit. When I got in my accident they handled all of that. To bad they are CRAZY expensive. You get what you pay for I guess.

Does anyone know if the dust is dangerous to in hail? The news talks air quality and no burn days in the winter. But what's in this dust? Do they ever take a sample and see what's in this dust? I used to drink beer and sit out and watch. After 9/11 and that dust was full of asbestos and that killed many people. I wonder if these dust storms (nobody calls them haboobs) are they full of Round Up weed killer and other toxic chemicals that these storms get off the desert floor (nobody calls it the 'valley')
I have 3 rules for buying real estate in AZ. I am capable and will gut/remodel. No termites, no foundation issues, 2 car garage minimum. Period end of story. I usually have 3 cars so 2 car garage is a reach. Anything else, I do not care, close escrow and move quickly. I will treat for termites regardless, it's AZ. Haboobs and monsoons will not damage my vehicles or no deal
