Idk how people can live here long term and not realize you dont park underneath trees for more than just a shopping trip

Depends on the Tree, Iron woods and Desert Oaks and even Olive trees don't break, Eucalyptus and Palo Verdes and Pines on the other hand are car killers. Especially eucalyptus, the main tree might say up, but it will drop some nasty branches (like what happened to OPs 528i).

Olive trees? Neighbor would like to have a say on this.

To clarify, lots of big branches, but the main trunk is fine.

You can get the non-fruiting kind, I believe that is what they have on Central along the bridle path. Those have been up for decades.

Nah even those ones drop olives along Central. I step in them all the time.

**At least, enough do that I notice it.
