I think it's going to be hard to convincingly alter them (relevant video that explains how tampering could get detected). Also, so far they've covered things up pretty sloppily (e.g: Epstein's jail footage), so I expect that trend to continue.

I was under the impression that enough people have seen enough of the unredacted material that it’s simply unrealistic to fake the report

Or maybe he’s going to take a few people out that do know in order to send a message before he does it?

That's right.

Or maybe he’s going to take a few people out that do know in order to send a message before he does it?

What message would it send other than "I'm guilty"? And in the FBI only, 1000 agents have worked on various parts of the Epstein files. Too many people are involved in this. I think the main reason this has not completely blown up yet is that the majority of the FBI are Trump supporters. But the simple fact that we know 1000 agents have worked is already proof that there are cracks in the cover-up machine.

It’s probably safer to have 1000 agents go through it than 10, because the more you’re able to compartmentalize the information the harder it is for any of those agents to truly have the full picture. They likely all only know little slivers of the most incriminating stuff a piece and so it may not look nearly as bad as it is to any one of them.

Yeah, once Trump dies, you know the line to give interviews/write books/sell rights is going to be massive.

"I could help save democracy, or I could sell a book... Decisions, decisions... j/k I'll sell a book."

Just black out the lines like in othe 'released' documents /files?...pretty sure they just do that. Or outright remove parts, for whatever reason deemed plausible, if they give any at all. National security, whatever... Give it a few years, and some things will come out, unless youre going to steal the papers yourself. You saw what Epstein got. Giselle complicit, or next.

And that’s where you’re wrong. How many people do you think knew about JFK? MLK? People are quiet when they’re worried about their self preservation.

Nah, that’s how the Clintons roll. Haven’t seen that from Trump.

There's a book called one nation under blackmail, it's a tome. But, if you can get through the 2 parts, it does the best job detailing the Epstein saga. Every claim comes with primary sources in the appendix, it's honestly a must read if you want to understand Epstein.

It does a great job detailing the Roy Cohn and Trump connection.

I think it's going to be hard to convincingly alter them

As if they couldn't just release them all with Donald Trump's name scribbled out in crayon and replaced with "Barack Obama" or whatever and the MAGA base wouldn't just lap it up like they've lapped up everything else this admin has puked out

This is covered in the video I shared above. Basically, they're counting on the many people who actually saw the files to point out any inconsistencies (which can be done anonymously). Of course, there is no guarantee that anyone would speak up. Just like there's no guarantee there'd be actual consequences for Trump and his minions even if that happened. Still no harm in hoping. Defeatism won't get us far.

Its not defeatism. Its realism.

That "realism" is a self-fulfilling prophecy. If everyone has that attitude, nothing good will happen.

No, we just need to realize that we need a different approach to fix this problem.

Why not. But we can try multiple approaches at the same time.
