She was betrayed, reborn, and now she won’t stop growing

I've kind of heard that Hollywood maybe thinking of doing a remake of the Attack of the 50 foot woman. but maybe still going with the old idea of it was aliens... why aliens? so kind of got me thinking, what ideas would be better?

Nancy, a brilliant geneticist, is betrayed by her colleagues and nearly killed in a lab “accident” that leaves her reborn—growing taller every day. Catapulted into fame as both miracle and monster, she struggles between corporate exploitation, public fear, and her bond with the one man who still sees her as human. But when betrayal resurfaces and her growth makes her a force of nature, Nancy must choose: cling to her humanity, or embrace the terrifying power she’s become.

📖 Mini Synopsis

Nancy, a rising scientist, is sabotaged during her breakthrough research and exposed to volatile chemicals of her own design. Left comatose and encased in a strange shell, she awakens changed—alive, but growing. At first the world treats her as a spectacle: brands exploit her, escorts guide her through cities, and even her closest ally, Dr. X, struggles with his feelings.

When sponsors push her into a massive Central Park showcase, her body doubles in size overnight. Frightened authorities surround her, while fragments of memory return—she was betrayed, and she wants answers. Her pursuit turns destructive, and in a rooftop clash she accidentally kills one conspirator. The shock frees her of restraint: vengeance becomes deliberate, though she spares those who repent.

Dr. X follows her through the chaos, refusing to abandon her even as the military closes in. In the final standoff, he calms both Nancy and the soldiers, persuading her to surrender. Relocated to a remote island, Nancy is left towering, self-aware, and no longer just human—her story only beginning as the world waits to see what she becomes.
