Discussion Do you guys lose interest in a game once you finish the main story?

I'm obviously talking about games that aren't super linear and have an open world aspect or replayability.

I put 150 hours into Death Stranding 2 before finishing the main story..and now that I have finished it, I don't have the same motivation to get on and play even though there are some things I haven't finished.

And I really love the game, but for some reason if there is nothing like driving my progress forward I kind of lose interest. Does that make sense?

Support Received PS 30th Anniversary Edition pre-order email confirmation after a year

I successfully bought a 30th anniversary Dualsense controller in Sept 2024 from PS Direct website. Today I got an email (not spam) for the same order ID, saying my order will be shipped soon and my card will be charged in a few days.

Did anybody else get similar email? This seems weird.

Support PlayStation randomly placed an order I already bought from a year ago

Edit: definitely an error based on everyone else getting the same thing. I freaked out for no reason lol. Thanks guys!

I purchased the 30th anniversary controller in September 2024, I received it and everything. Today I received an email saying that they placed the order again. I can’t cancel it, I can’t talk to anyone, the chat agent I spoke with sent a link to another chat that didn’t even have the chat option.

wtf happened and how do I stop this? Just contact my bank and hope that their investigation ends in my favor? I already have the controller, this is so random. I also can’t return it when they ship it because it’s a special edition controller.

Is this happened with anyone else?

Discussion How many full price games on launch do you purchase every year?

Lately I’ve been adopting an await sales approach. With times being hard, being patient seems to workout better for me, but that’s just my opinion.

I just got an email that says “Payment For Your Pre-Order Item Will Be Processed Soon” for a controller (30th anniversary) that was delivered last November. Did anyone else get this email?

Discussion What is a game that I havent experienced should must play? Ghost or GOW 2018 or RDR2 or MGS master collection?

Games I played this year: Re2r, re3r, re4r, uncharted 1-4, Persona 3 Reload + The Answer, Final Fantasy IX & X, Resident evil 5 & 7, and Persona 5 Royal. I usually play games for the story thay helps me gain growth and experience so what is a game do you think i ll enjoy?

Ghost of Tsushima: Had plans on getting this game for some time and now that the sequel is coming im looking forward to it but kinda doesnt look like the game offers much besides action combat and comapred to breath of the wild but because i love japanese and always want to visit there one day and want to learn culture of it i never really have time to do it.

God of war 2018: I never played a god of war game before and not spending a lot of money for plus to play the older games but the story looks emotional and since its about kratos and his son going on journey to spread the ashes of kratos wife (aretus mother).

Metal Gear Solid: A lot of people high praise the game and never got the chance to play it but ive seen the trailers and looks emotional and now that the remake just came out i should definitely give this game a try and planned on getting it when i finished royal but theres others games that come to mind.

RDR2: I never played the first one but a lot of people are always going to recommend this game to newcomers but I know its long and its more story focused but dont really mind but because the game is super long i dont really know if i should get this game next or not but i dont really have nothing else to say about what i think but just target games for the story and its inspiring themes of the story and bonding characters. What do you guys think i should play?

tired of the games I have at the moment (need a break) so I wanted to try something I haven't played before. So I come across this game. It's not a game id necessarily know of or even play. I didn't think I would like it. I downloaded a few games, 1 2,3, and nothing didn't like them. Then I saw this and thought, this looks interesting, possibly idk, being bored I said screw it and gave it a chance.

This game isn't too bad. Reminds me of God of war sorta but obviously it isn't. At first, it was about to lose me, but as I've gone on a bit im starting to get into it and had to make myself turn it off to get to bed for work lol idk if it's popular or a bad game, but the nightmare lady is pretty cool lookin. Basic but I like it being a horror fan and all. Anybody played this? Should I keep going? Hell, I'm gonna keep going regardless lol
