Elden ring at the very least comes down to skill and well-built characters. It's mostly not a buggy fight in most cases whereas in the newest FF7, you have a dam dragon fling itself at you spinning around wrapping itself around pillars and then somehow murdering you. Does that thing even have a spine? Also, the dam thing is about your level. In most of the original FF7 battles that I enjoyed I had to come up with creative ways to beat it like the material keeper where I killed two of my party members and used potions and limit breaks to kill it. That worked for a few bosses. I get it side bosses should suck and be challenging stop making story bosses feel like your fighting against something that is an Iksaki character and given cheat powers.
