That was the beauty of the buddy š¤ it was like he had a mind of his own. In the rest of the games, when you sit on a horse, it's like the player has hacked into the horse's mind instead.
Honestly, once I got the hang of it, sheās pretty fun to use in fights. Hanging off the side to avoid Basaranās projectiles then hitting a quick turn to run full force at him to stop him from moving away from the geyser is really satisfying.
It took me 3 or 4 tries to get to the second colossus because I hated the cinematic camera angles so much. Finally got through the game, excellent story, made me cry a couple times, still despise the cinematic camera angles.
Both. When I first started, Spent the better part of an hour trying to mess with settings to get it less cinematic and more focused on Wander. I eventually gave up and just rode around south of the main temple for a while to get used to it. It makes a little more sense when youāre fighting something that large, but I really got upset with it when I went against the Colossi on the cover. I do think part of it is that I was very new to gaming and had only played R* and Nintendo titles, I should give it another go now and see if I still think itās as egregious as I believe.
I was today years old when I found out his name wasn't "Arook"! I played it like 20 years ago. That's what I thought I heard when you pressed X to call the horse.
I still have flashbacks to Agro falling off the bridge. If I were an actor, that would be the trigger that makes me cry, even though I remember Agro survives the fall
