Elon has no concept of money, because he has so much of it and it has become meaningless to him.

You are absolutely right everyone should be terrified, because the next thing people seek after money, is power.

Ask yourself, why the heck would a billionaire care about the governments spending? He has more money than he and his family, and the next 10 generations can ever spend. The guy is a cancer, who will stop at nothing to please his unquenchable thirst.

Most likely he isn't after money so much as physical assets and resources. He'd like to own all sources of potable water, all available arable land, all ports in case there is still trade and much more beside. He's a warlord. His violence right now is economic. But damn, those MAGAs sure love their guns and militias. And coopting them for that purpose will keep them from getting riled up over what they've lost. In fact they'll be the most patriotic fuckers ever.
