Jake Tapper, where are you bud. There is clearly makeup covering up large IV bruising on his hand. I don’t know how much more suspicious you can get.

He has to be on a ton of anticoags considering the way he eats and his age. He's in for a major hemorrhage if he actually falls.

I don't see why he's stressing himself to death. If I were a complete sociopath like him I'd just pardon myself, resign, and just play golf as much as I wanted.

Edit: I have like a million notifications of people all saying that he's already doing it or that he isn't stressing out. Dude can't unilaterally do what he wants and does have limitations on how often he can fuck off. Presidency ages even terrible sociopaths because he's constantly being asked questions, having to work more than he has in his life all to chase a high he'll never get. He has no satisfaction from the job at all and it's hard for people like me to wrap their heads around it, but trust me, I understand why on a logical level.

412

u/vicvonqueso Jun 20 '25

Because that's how a sociopath is. When they want something, rationality isn't going to get in the way. The goal becomes the only acceptable outcome

158

u/Critical-Path-5959 Jun 20 '25

Yeah, I'll never be able to wrap my head around it. The more selfish route for him would be genuinely beneficial to everyone. I don't get why he doesn't just actually fuck off.

168

u/GoNutsDK Jun 20 '25

Because of his frail ego. He's a massive narcissist and he cannot deal with losing or showing vulnerability. He needs to appear as if he is in control.

41

u/Hikaru1024 Jun 20 '25

More properly he needs to think that's the way he appears to others.

Narcissists are very insecure people. For an example of how this can go, notice he's still blaming Biden constantly? Still bringing up the 2020 election?

It's because he lost, and he can't stand it. It's forever going to nag at him. It doesn't matter what other people think, what they believe - so long as he thinks people might believe he lost, he's going to keep bringing it up.

Running away from his job to do whatever he wants would be awesome for him - if only he didn't know what it'd look like to other people.

u/oroborus68 Jun 20 '25

11

u/InfiniteDelusion094 Jun 20 '25

MMW, he drops a nuke and even our allies will consider some sort of action against us just to stop him dropping more/normalizing dropping them. There's a good reason we haven't really used them in nearly 80 years, and it's a can of worms even other nuclear powers don't want to deal with. Nobody sane wants to be the ruler of a radioactive crater, and anyone who knows about nuclear war knows thats most likely what they'll be left with.

Trump doesn't keep his word and therefore doesn't believe others will keep their word. Even now he's accusing Biden's pardons of being fake!

As a result, Trump doesn't believe anyone would keep their word if he resigned, I.E. he deson't believe his VP wouldn't actually pardon him once Trump no longer has power and resigns, and\or that the next president (Either his former vp or a Democrat) would honor a pardon because Trump himself is trying to overturn Biden's pardons.

This is also why Trump is having so many problems making deals. Trump overturns any deal whenever it benefits him (i.e., overturning the USMCA despite Trump being the person who negotiated it) and believes everyone else will do the same. As a result nobody trusts Trump will keep his word for a future payoff and thus any deal is subject to Trump's whims.

Or flee to Russia and play golf there while claiming he’s a president in exile to rile up his base and funnel more money to him.

149

Because he's a terrible businessman. He could've raked in cash during covid with MAGA masks, claiming only his MAGA masks blocked corona virus and his rube base would've cleared out stock everywhere, but no he's too stupid to do that.

He could have released MAGA ivermectin which wink wink isn’t approved for covid treatment or human use and they would guzzle it.

That bruise looks exactly like when my grandfather was on blood thinners for congestive heart failure. His skin became so thin it tore when one of his nephews shook his hand too hard.

The real difference, of course, is my grandfather bravely fought against Nazi, loved and was loved by his children and grandchildren, was all of his many nieces and nephews favorite uncle, made a mean pumpkin pie, paid his taxes, donated to charity, and generally lived an exemplary life going from one of ten children in a starving family during the the Great Depression to a comfortably retired man with his bills paid and a nice nest egg to leave behind. So the anti-Trump, if you will.

He is Greed at his core - he is trying to fill a hole in heart/mind that can't be filled. And we are all busy (and tired) of filling it. Some just haven't realized that it's thankless and constant work.

In the end, his grave will be a place of ridicule, not inspiration.

But see, that's the problem. He's not like you or me. Most normal human beings if they were Filthy Rich would help lots of other people and retire and have a fun life. He's not a normal human being. If Trump had to retire tomorrow and just play golf he would literally die. His whole life line is adulation from other people. It's the only thing that keeps him going. He cares about nothing else on this planet except that people think he's the greatest thing ever. So he's constantly seeking that adoration and the problem is you can't get in a much higher position in life than he has gotten into and it's still not enough. Isn't that sad? He's been the president of the United States twice and it's still not taking care of that internal thing that says he's not good enough. Well, as we all know, there isn't much more you can get to be beyond the president of the United States so he's forever going to be chasing that high at all of our expense.

"During what remains the most-watched Oscars telecast ever, with over 55 million viewers, [Director James ] Cameron took the podium three times to deliver speeches for "Titanic," which in total took home 11 golden statuettes.

Cameron was announced as best director toward the end of the ceremony, and in his last speech of the night, he decided to quote the line his leading man Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack shouts from the prow of the titular ship: "I'm the king of the world!" https://www.businessinsider.com/james-cameron-reflects-king-of-the-world-titanic-oscars-speech-2023-3#:~:text=Cameron%20was%20announced%20as%20best,the%20king%20of%20the%20world!%22

Somehow I suspect that Extreme Narcissist Taco Don wishes to make a similar speech, but in his mind he would actually be the King of the World.

12

u/VoyagerCSL California Jun 20 '25

Cameron has always gotten unwarranted shit for saying that. He's literally parroting his character in his movie, who declares "I'm the king of the world!" because he feels like a million bucks in that moment.

He wants to hold onto his presidential immunity as long as possible, because if he can’t run out the clock on his court cases, they will start holding him accountable. That was one of the main reasons he wanted to win the presidency again the second time.

Of course, it’s also the world‘s most massive ego trip for the biggest sociopath on the planet, and a position that he can use to enrich himself far beyond what he’s been able to do in the past.

16

u/pinetreesgreen Jun 20 '25

He's grifting hundreds of millions. Of course he's not going to resign. He's a dragon sitting on his horde. You are thinking like a normal functioning person.

The type of persecution complex a narcissist like him has makes all his performative outrage a cathartic reaction to his feeling that the world is jealous of his success. He's the most powerful man in the world and he never wants to be less than that again. The "quiet life" you're suggesting would be devastating to his ego.

Given how projection seems to work with the Trump Regime, the focus on Biden's brain being cooked chili should be taken as evidence that everyone in DC knows - and is seriously freaked out about - the molten slag between Chump's ears.

25

u/Tenthul Jun 20 '25

Yeah it's basically just theatre so they can say "but Biden..." when something inevitably happens.

11

u/HarlequinWasTaken Jun 20 '25

I've had this argument with people I know already. Trump basically sundowning at the G7 and having to leave early, the trip up the stairs, the constant verbal flubs. It's all shit that people pointed to when Biden was running shit to say how he was losing it, but somehow it's fine for Trump, because didn't you read Tapper's book about how bad Biden actually was??

They don't care that if that information were accurate, it should have been released DURING Biden's presidency when it was relevant. They don't care that the same is likely true of Trump, that he is probably so much worse than the limited view we're allowed to see. They don't care that Biden's misspeaking was largely always present due to speech impediments, and that even on his "worst" days he was still far more capable and aware than Trump is on his best.

They only care that they have a "whataboutism" for a person who isn't even the US president anymore, to throw in your face as though it somehow justifies anything. "Well, you had a dementia riddled president, so now WE get one!"

Arguing with these people is pointless because they do so in bad faith, and don't believe in the meaning of words. They will say anything, betray any ideal, if it keeps their opponents off balance long enough to attack them.

57

u/No_Car3453 Jun 20 '25

Jake Tapper has ALWAYS been an asshole grifter. The literal only reason we know who he is is because he went on a date with Monica Lewinsky in the 90s and wrote an article about her when the Clinton scandal broke

8

u/AntoniaFauci Jun 21 '25

Indeed, I guess I’m glad people are finally starting to realize what some of us have been warning about. He looks the part, but is a true asshole and sloppy journalist at best.

He’s basically a fiction writer, and no, I’m not referencing his dishonest reporting. I mean he literally writes and sells crappy novels most of the time. The afternoon show is like his side hustle.

He also uses his fake CNN image as a way to become co-author of books. And he exploited same to give his daughter a book deal for what was essentially an embellished diary.

This Biden book has been his biggest stain. It’s largely salacious and false gossip and a vehicle to make money from conservatives. He should be ashamed but he does not appear to have that character element.

In April, the White House released a memo from Trump’s physician, Sean Barbabella, claiming the president is in “excellent cognitive and physical health,” with the memo also bizarrely highlighting his “frequent victories in golf events.” It also claimed he’s 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 224 pounds.

lol. lmao, even.

u/Altruistic-Coyote868 Canada Jun 20 '25

Larry Fitzgerald 6’3” - 218 lb

Lamar Jackson 6’2” - 212 lb

Donovan Mitchell 6’3” - 220 lb

Anthony Edwards 6’4” - 225 lb

Juan Soto 6’2” - 224 lb

When Trump claims he is 6’3” and 224 lbs, it’s not just a little fudging of the numbers. He wants you to believe he has the same body mass as some of the best professional athletes in the United States. I’m not a betting man, but I’d wager my house on Lamar doing a weigh in with Donnie Two Scoops.

In 1994, the very first time he played golf, Kim Jong-Il dominated the 7,700-yard Pyongyang Golf Course. He shot an unimaginable 38-under par, recording no worse than a birdie at the country's lone golf course. His round included 11 holes-in-one, and the feat was verified by 17 bodyguards who were present.

7

I am 6'3 and 242lbs as of yesterday. There is no similarity between my body and the body of donald trump. I'm not even all that fit - i work out but i also drink too much so i have the spare tire -but Trump is easily 50lbs heavier than i am, and probably 2 inches shorter, minimum.

Dude's easily putting a 300 on the scale.

I'm 6'3" and a bit over 200lbs and I look thin. Even if I had virtually no muscle and it was all fat I would still look thin. It's not a directly linear weight-to-height, which is why someone that's the same ratio but 5'2" would look above-average weight.

I have friends that are 6'5" and ~260 that still look about half the thickness of Trump.

Well, yes. But we ought to hold presidents to an even higher standard of honesty since doctors can only kill one person at a time and Trump can wipe us all from existence

27

u/ImWearingYourHats Jun 21 '25

Lying about the president’s health should be a major felony. It’s lying to the entire country in a way that could jeopardize the lives of its population. If they say not signs of mental decline, and that decline leads to impulsive behavior that leads to a war .. like who else could have possibly warned us and saved the military from that.

Don't they have licenses issued by a board that would normally take a dim view of a physician just making shit up?

Trump's physician is a career military doctor, and they have a medical board that is probably separate from the civilian medical boards.

My experience with medical boards is that they cover for their own and will rarely lay down such harsh punishments on physicians. It's really only MASSIVE mess ups, or really really high profile deaths

People have to get involved and actually vote in order to get their objectives achieved. If wishes were fishes we'd all dine fat. Instead barely half of the folks vote, and almost nobody votes in the primaries.

102

u/Mindless_Listen7622 Washington Jun 20 '25

Voter suppression is the reason that election day isn't a national holiday. It's also why Republicans want to eliminate early voting, mail in voting, mandatory voting and anything that makes voting easier.

49

u/Rude-Strawberry-6360 Jun 20 '25

Voter suppression has to be fought. Ironically with voting.

→ More replies (4)

7

u/nakedonmygoat Jun 20 '25

But early voting isn't illegal yet. Where I live, one can go to any polling place, early voting started at 7am, and it was 7 days a week for two weeks. I'm deeply skeptical that anyone not in a coma can't find some way to get out there and vote. And I'm not even in a blue state.

While I agree that election day should be a national holiday, that's not the reason people don't vote. Apathy is the reason. You could send those apathetic losers a gold-plated invitation and send a limo around for them, and they still wouldn't bother.

4

u/bgrueyw Jun 21 '25

About 93% of Americans live in a state that offers at least 7 days of early voting, and only about 3% of the country live in states that does not offer early voting or excuse is required. So shame on Mississippi, Alabama and New Hampshire; and other states can do better in early voting offering, but in general a vast majority of Americans have had the option to vote early.

Here is the criteria the site I used for this info has:

Almost all states offer some form of early voting, but the length of the early voting period varies by state. Our scoring includes states that offer “in-person absentee voting,” which is a process by which a voter completes an absentee ballot at a polling place. States that offer in-person absentee voting but require an “excuse” to vote absentee have been scored 0. Hours and locations may vary by county. These laws are applicable to general elections only.

If most voters want age limits, why do they keep nominating and electing elderly politicians?

We have the power to tell them no.

102

u/PennysWorthOfTea Jun 20 '25

You're assuming that the USA is a functional, representative democracy with equal voting rights when, in fact, we live in a country with gerrymandering, lobbyists, active voter disenfranchisement/suppression, & the electoral college.

why do they keep nominating and electing elderly politicians?

Because the people who actually turn up and vote are also old.

Then the people who actually care to vote are getting who they want. We can't complain if we don't turn out every election.

The people have a right to know if their elected leaders are in poor health or not mentally fit.

The working class also has a right to have leaders from their own adjacent generation who understands current issues, not retirees who don’t fully understand the modern world.

Politics shouldn’t predominantly be a retirement gig for the wealthy.

The guy conservatives hold as the great American manly man refuses to play at any golf tournament that he doesn't hold himself at his own clubs.

He hosts 3 day tournaments, then shows up halfway throug day three, declares that he would be in first place if he had played, cheats through the last couple holes, then declares himself the winner.

He then makes his staff throw him a party and give him a trophy, and brags about it.

He's a sad, sad old man, living his life like a 5 year old at his birthday party where everyone has to pretend the world's fucking worst kid is wonderful.

This is what conservatives consider manliness.

Fucking pathetic.

Both options would be ruled un constitutional by most SCOTUS... Especially this one. The time for action was at the voting booth. Americans shit the bed on this one. Until we replace that stained mattress... Gonna be in shit.

16

u/the_Russian_Five Jun 20 '25

They would be correct on both counts. The health records are debatable. Congress could potentially see health records under it's oversight powers. But if the Constitution is interpreted to have a right to privacy for medical records, it would be a hard hurdle to overcome. And past SCOTUS have ruled that because of how the qualifications are laid out in the Constitution, additional limits can't be set on them without an amendment.

13

u/Shopping_General Jun 20 '25

Didn't we give up on privacy for medical records when Roe v. Wade was overturned? I thought that was the whole legal president behind it was privacy of medical records.

7

u/the_Russian_Five Jun 20 '25

That chain goes the other way. Personal medical privacy was used as part of the original Roe argument and decision. But that was a policy derived from an earlier case, Griswold v Connecticut affirmed medical privacy in protecting a right to contraception.

24

u/fredout1968 Jun 20 '25

What people do not understand and should be furious about is that our elected officials do not care about what the majority of Americans want. It has no bearing on what the way they vote. They are very concerned about what their corporate donors want, but could care less about the majority...

29

u/yParticle Jun 20 '25

Age limits, term limits, all of those are usually straw men for the people you're actually wanting to get rid of today. And the people trying to disenfranchise voters love amplifying such calls because they take away our choice.

13

u/dasteez Jun 20 '25

Yep, I used to support these since they sound great in theory but once you dig into who supports them it gets murky. I know the last city I lived in got shot in the ass cause our state passed term limits (pushed by GOP) which then term limited an extremely popular Mayor in the next election, who I have no doubt would have won again and may even still be mayor now 10 years later.

That said, something needs tk be done about SCOTUS - lifetime appointments is insanity, especially for non-elected but highly important positions. It’s crazy that those appointments are basically the luck of the draw on who dies during who’s presidency. Huge flaw of our system.

And while we are at it, cut their lifetime healthcare. Give it to them while they’re in office and once out, no more tax payer funded healthcare.

4

u/gotridofsubs Jun 20 '25

Age AND term limits

Both of these are solved by primary and general election voting. If enough people actually want change, change will occur.

This also makes a constantly revolving group of lawmakers MORE susceptible to lobbyist influence since those lobbyists will be the most experienced and equipped to create and pass legislation.

And while we are at it, cut their lifetime healthcare. Give it to them while they’re in office and once out, no more tax payer funded healthcare.

Would this not just encourage them to stay in office longer to not lose the coverage? Or minimum make sure after their terms they move into another position immediately so theres no gaps? This would probably have the opposite effect thats intended.

There are much easier ways to achieve what you want that are already available, voters just have to show it what they want.

If anyone actually thinks a person anywhere from 60-80 years of age knows what the majority of American citizens want they are, quite frankly, very stupid. The priorities have changed. Younger folks don't have healthcare, or very little to any job benefits for that matter. No retirement plan. Living paycheck to paycheck regardless of income. The entire idea of "work hard, and then we will take care of you" ideal is gone. The minimum wage is massively atrocious. Instead, the people running our country are living comfortable lives and can't grasp that the whole "pick yourself up by your bootstraps" concept is flawed and is slowly establishing a permanent working class. I'm really glad I don't have children, because, fuck...

5

u/bofh000 Jun 20 '25

Yes please, make it 60 max for any candidate. If they’re past 60 they shouldn’t be allowed to run anymore, even as a second mandate.

And yes, universal suffrage is the way, obviously, but I think high officials should have a demonstrable career in which they’ve used their higher education. Enough with the actors and the reality tv parasites. Oh, and “businessman” isn’t a career. Not is to have floundered from one fraudulent scheme to another.

Release false health records. America, we already elected this POS. The health records would have been nice years ago. Along with his tax records.

That being said, we 100% knew he was a crook, rapist, sick racket and we still elected him.

Health records…. Democrats need to start talking like republicans.

Let me start, “He will be tried for treason when we are elected and control the government. We will pursue the death penalty for all those who were treasonous during his tenure.”

“This is not a joke, those that are involved with treason, will be caught and tried through the democratic led justice department. We are not playing any more games.”
