A clear dead catting.
For the uninitiated - the dead cat strategy, or dead catting, refers to a political strategy where a shocking announcement is made to divert attention from ongoing problems or failures. This tactic aims to shift the media focus away from negative issues by creating a distraction that captures public interest. For a good example, see anything that Boris Johnson did, ever. Or indeed, the last 6 months of US politics.
It's the political equivalent of pointing at a dead cat on the driveway, to distract people from watching you rob someone's garage.

I saw his cankles like 50 times yesterday. They’re definitely trying to kill the story and put an end to all of the speculation. Plus their claimed diagnosis is benign and common. I’m not really one for tin foil hats and I didn’t think his legs looked all that different from most elderly people but now that they’re publicly saying this I am kind of suspicious it’s something more serious.

Yah people were commenting on the photos before she said anything about it. They're downplaying. He has a urinary catheter and a dark bruise on his hand. Putting those pieces together he likely has congestive heart failure that's also causing kidney failure. Blood thinners cause big bruises like that, and the catheter may be to help drain urine to alleviate pressure on his kidneys. Or he's on diuretics that aren't working very well and it's making him urinate a lot and he's having trouble holding it. Pair that with his obvious mental decline and the guy is in terrible shape.

No idea hwy anyone would believe that given how many times he's had doctors lie about his health, his weight & height and everything else for him.
Bullshit. IN addition to his massive ankles, he's had bruising on the back of his hand for months, consistent with being on blood thinners and getting IVs likely because years of being a fat fuck and eating trash and never exercising is finally catching up to this miserable piece of garbage.
They're claiming that the bruising on the back of his hands is from "shaking too many hands."

Not long at all. After the tyrant dies, it's every man for himself.
Here's my scenario:
10 pm: Trump dies. Let's say it's at the White House, that makes it easier to keep news of his death from getting out.
12 midnight: there's a top secret meeting of the cabinet, the White House senior staff, and assorted other MAGA VIPs. They all very solemnly agree to keep the secret as long as possible so they can keep the Trump agenda moving.
2 am: The meeting breaks up. Everybody goes home.
3-5 am: Half the people from the meeting are on the phone with various media figures, trying to sell their exclusive on Trump's death.
7 am: Every single morning news show leads with the news of Trump's death and the exclusive story from someone who was there and is putting themselves forward as the new leader of MAGA.

"If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” his doctor reported. Dr. Bornstein also said it was “astonishingly excellent”.
If that doesn’t sound like professional doctor language to you, you’re correct. It was all dictated by Trump he later admitted, to the astonishment of none.
So the lesson here? No one should believe anything about his health, coming from his physicians or press secretary.

Only a matter of time before he posts on Truth Social, “ Doctors say I’m working too hard for the American people. I’m literally working so hard my body can’t keep up. “

If the stress of the Epstein file controversy is what pushes him over it’d be some sort of justice at least.
Hoisted by his own petard.

Perhaps letting 75+ year-olds to run the country should be considered elder abuse.

We also should rethink letting racist pedophiles run it. It’s not going super great.

I can’t imagine flying on AF1 is safe under these circumstances. Seems like blood clot risks would be much greater.

Would be incredibly sad if the President's love of flying to his golf resort ended up causing him harm. Incredibly sad.

Reminds of of an old saying, the grand-folks would state when taking about a particular person.
"Heaven doesn't want him, and Hell is afraid he'll take over."

I think his heart is failing rapidly. Him turning on Qanon and other republicans is a sign he’s may be giving up. Hitler blamed his followers at the end too. He’s going to burn it all down if they let him.

They latched on so hard to Biden's cognitive decline but shit like this they just swallow uncritically.

Don’t forget that the president of the United States is a convicted felon and is hiding evidence of his pedophilia. Just because he is old and has medical conditions does not mean he shouldn’t be held accountable.
P.S. Do your job cholesterol…

So we’ve found the distraction from the Epstein story. Trump has never been one to admit any health problems. Suddenly he’s open and willing to share. The squirrel has run by and everyone will start chasing it🫤

If they’re releasing a statement that he’s in good health, it must mean things are looking grim.

This condition doesn't come out of nowhere-by the looks of his legs it's at least stage 3. They were calling out Biden over his late stage cancer diagnosis; why aren't they doing the same here? Hypocritical liars

Trump was Epstein‘s good friend co-conspirator and a pedophile and he is covering up for other pedophiles. Don’t let this distract you.

u/NumeralJoker Jul 17 '25 edited Jul 17 '25
Yeah, Trump isn't just a client, he was likely a sex trafficker directly working with Epstein, hiring vulnerable young women directly at Mar-A-Lago.

That's why he wants to distract and bury the story by any means necessary. He IS the swamp he claimed he'd drain.

Chronic venous insufficiency doesn't just 'pop up' like this. It certainly appears to be a more acute issue, and the fact that its bilateral sure seems more like its CHF. Aggressive diuresis for that would explain why it had appeared he had a foley and leg bag. Making headlines with a nothing burger diagnosis is because they are hiding something bad.

My dad passed away shortly after this scenario. Congestive heart failure, then water retention, poor blood circulation. All sorts of bad things.
No, I’m not wishing the worst on anyone. Just sharing my experience.
