It costs a lot too compared to other streaming services. Fuck them.

CBS/Viacom/Paramount have been the absolute worst network when it comes to pricing and availability. Even if you had access through a cable provider they did everything they could to make sure you paid them directly for on demand or some other feature content. They can burn.

I swear the only reason I signed up was for Colbert. It’s been a bonus to watch reruns of certain old tv shows and some movies, but even before this debacle, I kept telling myself that I can watch Colbert on YouTube instead of paying for yet another service. But I liked being able to watch the whole thing at night versus piecemeal as clips on YouTube. Now they can fuck off though.

Assuming you’re in the U.S., you can buy an indoor antenna for about $25 and watch local channels for free. Mine also gets about 30 other channels such as classic movies, StartTV, multiple PBS channels with different content, etc.

The number of channels depends on where you live. In bigger cities/more densely populated areas, you might have access to many more. Source: A client in Boston said he gets around 100.

Great suggestion. I’m in Chicago and I also get around 100 channels
