As a 30+ year old woman, never in my life have I wanted to actively hang out with teenage girls, unless it’s family. I was a young teenage girl once, and had many adult friends due to being a drug addict and alcoholic from a very early age. They didn’t keep me around for conversation.. Sadly this is all too common..

As a former teenaged male, without drug abuse, I actively avoid all children and I get hyper vigilant when I’m forced to be around kids. I was born into a ring, so many of my family members are abusers. They’ve gotten away with it for so long, just like Trump.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. Dealing with abusive family leaves lifelong scars, ones I’m still trying to deal with myself. I’ve realized a lot of people will look the other way, especially if the predator is helping them or if they are worried about their own character being questioned. My uncle is a pedophile and people in my family knew for a very long time, except a few of us. That’s honestly why I’m so vigilant too!
