A child sex abuse survivor from Palm Beach County who testified at the Ghislaine Maxwell trial in 2021 said she had met Donald Trump with Jeffrey Epstein at Mar-a-Lago in the 1990s when she was 14 and was once a contestant in Trump's Miss Teen USA beauty pageant.

She was trafficked through Trump's pageant.

When Trump says his falling out with Epstein was over Jeff hiring Trump's workers, this is what he really means. Poaching his victims, more like.

So he’s not hiding the files just because he is a co-conspirator but because these files would presumably shine a light on his own, independent heinous crimes.

I'm torn between calling them the Trump-Epstein files to emphasize how Trump was a major player not just a bystander, and calling them the Epstein-Trump files, because there's a non-zero chance he gets so irritated by the second billing that he comes out and says "Look, I raped way more girls than Jeff, OK? He could only dream about doing as many as I did."

He may make that mistake. Been making a lot of other ones.

There’s a small optimist in me that sees trumps’ presidency as a potential vaccine to inoculate our government against future abuses of the presidency, but given how scotus was stacked, that optimist is dying a rather painful death atm.
