How any of them ever thought he would do anything besides FUCK THEM OVER is completely beyond me. He literally has laid out how he feels about Hispanic/Minority immigrants a thousand times.

Yeah, it's pretty amazing. I guess at this point the Republikan Party has fucked people over for so long they just take it in stride.

Just gotta shout about something that makes them uncomfortable, like trans people, and they circle the wagons.

Apparently there’s strong conservativism in their communities. They thought they were voting for the republic party who knows how important the Hispanic population is to the success of our country, and are all talk when it comes to deportation for that reason. Little did they realize that don the con only wanted their votes and to pick up right where he left off. I’m surprised he hasn’t accused them of eating peoples rabbits and gerbils or some shit

As someone who grew up in Latin America, and knows people from all parts of LA - this is it at the core. Outside of very modern diverse metros like Mexico City, Hispanic culture is simply lagging behind much of Western culture in progressivism and tolerance.

Communities that follow organized religion tend to go that way..

Fuck Spain for tainting so many cultures with Catholicism.

Need a series of Popes like Francis to undo the taint of John Paul II’s extremist conservatism.

It is genuinely difficult to convince someone to vote for a person they believe will murder babies if given power. Abortion really is a single issue voter-maker for many people. :(

It’s not that. It’s just that Hispanic Americans are true Americans (as everyone but racist morons knew all along). They’re an important part of a brilliant and vibrant culture, but sadly one that lionizes arrogance and ignorance. There needs to be a massive, overwhelming rejection of this tyrant in the midterms and a nationwide conversation about what it means to be American needs to follow.
