Occupying these cities is a pretense to something worse. Having the military prestaged in major US (Blue) cities means dissent will be squashed quickly. Things are going to get worse.

EDIT: Pretext, not pretense.

I mean, will it? City populations greatly outnumber the NG, ICE, and even the police. Then again, who knows what measures they’ll take.

Police states work better when there’s less people to govern. Going after Chicago and New York is a mistake. Just like it was with LA

27

u/Brilliant-Advisor958 11h ago

It normalizes it. Like a frog in pot of water slowly heating water.

10

u/ShamelessCatDude 10h ago

It’s already been normalized though. This is just how it’s always felt for minorities. We’re used to it after decades of being enemies of the police.

But we keep fighting. And you should too. Think of it like the Epstein files. We still haven’t normalized those, and I doubt we will. Keep going

6

u/Brilliant-Advisor958 10h ago

But we keep fighting. And you should too

Oh dont get me wrong , I'm.not advocating being silent about it.

Just how having guys with assault rifles waking around , makes people get used to it. And they shouldn't.

4

u/ShamelessCatDude 10h ago

Except people aren’t really used to it, even after years of inhumane behavior. There is still a humongous part of America that fights against normalizing school shootings. It can’t get normalized if you don’t normalize it

Trump Melts Down in Unhinged Revenge Rant: ‘They Must Pay’

Trump confirms to us every day that he is the stupidest president in the history of America.

7

u/nomadstardawn 9h ago

He’s not leading this alone.

4

u/come_on_seth 9h ago

Without his magat cohorts he is just another lunatic shaking his fist at the sky. He’s nothing without them and he’s losing them daily.

3

u/nomadstardawn 9h ago

Backed by most major corporations, Russia+china, Israel, the heritage foundation, and every white nationalist group in America.

Oh and the entire US military.

Pretty much the people that ALREADY run our lives.

What makes you think we can stop them? And if you think we can, why haven’t we? When do we?

We are not frogs

3

u/NotThatHandsomePete 9h ago

The people of these cities don't want the troops there, and the troops don't want to be there. Neither wants to hurt the other, so neither knows what to do to stop it.

3

u/ShamelessCatDude 9h ago

Well, that’s a good thing, right? Neither wants to hurt the other? Then let’s not. The NG has every right to turn down orders they find unconstitutional. Trump could scream at them to do something all he wants, but what’s more of a protest than the military just going “nah, we don’t feel like it”? Especially when one of their biggest goals is a military state where you have to be afraid of dissenting?

u/UnionThug1733 7h ago

It will get worse. The death toll of 47 will pale 45 with Covid. We are in the first stage of occupation we will soon be living in a war zone.

u/ShamelessCatDude 6h ago

If it will be war, which it may be, we overpower the government purely through the number of people. They have nukes, sure, but then they just hurt themselves, we’re all on the same land. They have the military, but we have a crazy gun nut country that probably will fire even if they attempt to take them away. We also do have some people in power on our side. The South fell once. The chances those people will fall again is not zero.

2

u/darth_helcaraxe_82 8h ago

They are trying to provoke it to get worse. However the people are now just like a spouse in a domestic violence situation. We get hit with a right hand, yet if we try and fight back, we will then get hit with the left.

They want it to get worse because Trump and The Heritage Foundation want their justification for martial law and Christian Nationalism based rule.

However there are more people than military and more guns than people. I wouldn't put it past Trump to order air strikes or bombing of American people. They just want an excuse to do it. I just hope the people who voted for this realize they won't be safe either.

u/Jezzusist12 5h ago

At some point, we have to understand that this will happen.

2

u/NoHorseShitWang 11h ago

And it’s not the IL Nat Guard. It’s red state troops they are using. Tennessee sent troops to DC.

u/Due-Egg4743 11h ago

It's like we're all living in an episode of Punk'd where most around you are not in on the ruse.

2

u/pwningrampage 11h ago

And im still waiting for him to come out and say we all just been punk'd.

16

u/Epstein_Files 10h ago

Release the Epstein files.

3

u/samuraiseoul 9h ago

I agree. I mean, Maxwell said that Trump isn't in it. Plus it will destroy a bunch of people who are abusing their positions to be pedos. What has he got to lose by releasing them?

10

u/DogonYaro 10h ago

The frenzied hiring of new ICE agents is indication that something more ominous is in the works.

Trump also cheated in 2024. Here is a clip of him saying that elon musk knew the vote counting computers

u/graesen 11h ago

The statistics of the voting data show a Russian tail too. It's not proof of rigging the election, but it's very very suspicious. Voters who were democratic down the whole ballots seemingly voted Trump instead of Kamala... And it seemed some counties had more votes than their entire population.

7

u/lalabera 11h ago

We need an investigation.

5

u/graesen 10h ago

This group is looking at the election data and discovered this stuff https://electiontruthalliance.org/analysis/clark-county-nevada/

Hey second amendment people, the thing that necessitated all those school shootings is finally happening

Here is a ranked list of some of the most frequently cited cities with high violent crime rates, based on recent 2024 and 2025 reports:

Memphis, Tennessee: Frequently ranked as having one of the highest violent crime rates, with some reports citing as many as 2,501.3 violent crimes per 100,000 residents in 2024. High rates of homicide and aggravated assault contribute to its ranking.

Detroit, Michigan: Often named among the most violent cities, with one 2024 report showing 2,007.8 violent incidents per 100,000 people. The city has a long history of economic hardship and high crime.

Baltimore, Maryland: Cited as having a violent crime rate of 1,833.4 per 100,000 residents in a 2024 report, and described as the deadliest large city by per-capita murder and robbery rate. The city struggles with economic inequality and gang activity.

St. Louis, Missouri: According to an April 2025 analysis, St. Louis was considered the most violent city in America based on data from 2024. Another report noted its 2024 murder rate at 70 per 100,000 residents, one of the highest in the nation.

Little Rock, Arkansas: Had a high violent crime rate of 1,457 incidents per 100,000 residents in a 2024 report, along with a significant murder rate.

Kansas City, Missouri: Experienced a record 176 homicides in 2023 and had a violent crime rate of 1,833.4 per 100,000 residents, tied with St. Louis in a 2024 ranking.

Cleveland, Ohio: In 2024, the city had a violent crime rate of 1,550 incidents per 100,000 people, according to an analysis of FBI data. Long-term struggles with poverty and a high property crime rate contribute to its ranking.

Birmingham, Alabama: A 2024 report named it one of the most violent cities with a violent crime rate of 1,485.0 per 100,000 residents, noting a high murder rate and poverty.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin: Saw an increase in homicides and aggravated assaults in 2024, with a violent crime rate of 1,249.6 per 100,000 residents, according to one ranking.

Stockton, California: Struggles with economic issues and high violent and property crime rates, with a 2024 report showing 1,352.7 violent crime incidents per 100,000 residents.

Hmm

u/CrawlerSiegfriend 3h ago

I'm not sure what the national guard can do about any of these stats. If it was some kind of cross state law enforcement task force, I could at least understand it.

u/njman100 8h ago

u/9_to_5_till_i_die 6h ago

Shut the fuck up and do something then.

Some city needs to start.

Send out city cops to meet them and attempt arrests on unlawful policing.

THEN FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Fucking democracy is at stake and these mother fuckers want to finger wag and shake their heads.

u/fowlraul Oregon 10h ago

He just wants his corrupt “friends” to be able to go to dinner without having to suffer the horror of the plebes in the streets that he can’t subjugate

1

u/calicoarmz 9h ago

Sounds like it’s time for the GDs and VLs to call a truce, unite, and step up. Also, release the Epstein files.

u/Tokyo-MontanaExpress 7h ago

Blue state governors need to deploy the NG to small red towns. Tired of this totally one-sided treatment.

u/MrSnrub_92 Pennsylvania 7h ago

Distracting the media from the Epstein Files

u/wellohwellok 4h ago

Over 250 murders to date (we're in a down year) is somehow not a crisis.

It's just 250 people murdered, big fucking deal.

u/Ennegerboll 3h ago

Ironic

u/HabANahDa 3h ago

Words aren’t doing anything. We need action. 8647

u/FreeNumber49 3h ago

I’m not kidding, but if you take away all the manufactured crises, there’s literally nothing left when it comes to the GOP. It’s all they are.

u/kaxx0r 3h ago

Dumb Hitler

u/syphen6 1h ago

Just trying to push the Epstein headlines further down.

u/SignificantStorm1601 45m ago

President Trump did not leave quietly last time. This time he looks even stronger. Will he leave quietly?

u/Welp_Shit_idgaf Florida 10m ago

No, he's not going to leave without causing another situation like J6, or something much worse anytime between now to the end of his term. He legitimately wants to end our democracy and become a King/dictator.

u/canon12 28m ago

I lived in Chicago and several other major cities including San Francisco, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Chicago is different. The people there are generally very nice. However don't mistake niceness for the lack of a backbone. It could evolve into a hornet's nest for Trump. They don't need his arrogance nor his lies, distortion and dictatorship actions.
