“Flagrant Violation of the Constitution” is Trump’s middle name.
•
u/DragonWarrior980 6h ago
It should be "Pedophile." It should read on his tombstone, under a big ol tree where birds perch, here lies "Donald Pedophile Trump."
•
u/thisisjustascreename 6h ago
Donny Two Scoops Flagrant Violation of the Constitution Alleged Pedophile Felon Adjudicated Rapist Krasnov is his full name
•
u/OfficialDCShepard District Of Columbia 6h ago
Donald T.R.U.M.P. (Totalitarian Rapist, Unfortunate Mistake and Pedophile).
•
u/DragonWarrior980 5h ago
I like that one ☝🏽
•
u/OfficialDCShepard District Of Columbia 5h ago
Feel free to spread this around along with the terms CATS Dictator Lifecycle (Consolidating, Ascendant, Tinpot, Stopped- he’s already Tinpot), fascionista (fascism cosplayers who back down when people actually show some fight), and Fascist Dinner Theater (the strongman theatrics in tourist areas like Union Station that don’t need National Guardsmen hanging around ordering pizza 🍕 for no reason.
•
u/Public-Policy24 6h ago
The Supreme Court has decided "Flagrant Violation of the Constitution" is the proper, originalist interpretation of the Constitution
•
u/0pt1musPr1m0rd1al 3h ago
He's not comfortable reading or saying flagrant violation. Now, if there was a word he was more familiar with, like a single-syllable word comprised of, say, four letters, like TAPE, that would work to his advantage, right?
•
u/Dramatic_Phlegmatic 7h ago
Republicans should be ashamed of how Un-American this is. What an embarrassment.
•
u/Vin-Metal 6h ago
Where are the Libertarians?
•
u/gplfalt 3h ago
Pfft.
The most prolific "Libertarian" elected to high office worldwide just announced Argentina is going all in on re-creating minority report in real life.
Libertarians always lean authoritarian if they even get a hint of actual power.
•
u/barryvm Europe 1h ago
They dislike government because they don't run it. If they disliked government because they distrust unaccountable hierarchies in general, they would be anarchists rather than libertarians. Instead, they want to get rid of social and governmental responsibilities so they can be lord over their own domain, which is just decentralized authoritarianism.

Missouri has a higher crime rate than Illinois, both violent crime and drug crime.
Democratic governors should start sending social workers to these shithole red states to combat their rampant drug and mental health problems.
•
u/DistractedPhoenix 7h ago
We pay for enough of their shit. No more resources
•
u/gradientz New York 7h ago
Okay fine. Then let's just prohibit political fundraising activities in New York, Chicago and LA by politicians from any shithole red state that fails to get its rampant mental health and drug problems under control.
•
u/pogishushu America 6h ago
The shithole red states are the ones sending their troops to help tRump destroy our democraccy. They could care less about their MAGAts mental health and drug problems. Besides, they actually believe the crap he says no matter if it hurts them.
•
u/Ello_Owu 6h ago
Trump is also sending the national garden to red states too, so pretty soon everyone will get a taste.
•
u/silian_rail_gun 3h ago
You’re not wrong, but your wording is. Sorry don’t mean to be a douche, but in this day and age we humans need to do everything in our power to separate ourselves from the bots.
•
•
u/Tarantula_Saurus_Rex 7h ago
Shouldn't Dems address the urban decay of sanctuary shitholes first? If you're gonna use taxpayer funded government employees as a hammer, clean your side of the street first?
•
u/gradientz New York 7h ago
Blue cities power the American economy. Keep bitching while cashing those checks.
•
u/Tarantula_Saurus_Rex 6h ago
No they don't, they power themselves, the rest of us left and set up shop elsewhere. So clean these cities up! Why go to Missouri? Drugs, mental health, and violence come from blue cities, not the south lol. Wipe your own ass. Nothing in my community requires the city, everyone left. My business doesn't require blue shitholes.
•
u/aommi27 6h ago
When a tornado or flood hits your community and you get FEMA support, what states do you think paid for that support.
•
u/Tarantula_Saurus_Rex 6h ago
Shitty deflect. Stay on point. Stop saying send social workers down south to fix mental health and drugs when you know damn well blue sanctuary shitholes are the source of this urban decay. Fema is funded by congress, not states. Allocated to state, local, and tribal. It's federal, not blue shithole funded.

u/DragonWarrior980 6h ago
Sorry, but this conversation is a load of nonsense. I’ve visited places like Memphis, Florida, Mississippi, Houston, and more numerous times in my life.
You’re full of it if you think this is a “blue state” problem—especially when opioid addiction, poor education, domestic violence, obesity, sexual abuse, and gun violence are sky-high in many red states.
Next time, do some research about your own so-called red utopia. Crime happens in highly populated cities regardless of political leaning. Singling out blue cities to send in the military while ignoring every struggling red-state area is pure partisan nonsense.
And let’s be clear: blue cities keep many red states afloat. Basically, only Wyoming, Utah, and Nevada aren't welfare states; most others are a net drain on the country. OUR tax dollars fund much of the disaster relief, welfare, food stamps, school lunches, hospitals, and law enforcement your communities rely on. So you need to watch it, biting the hands that help feed your communities.
•
u/KrakenOmega112 6h ago
Dude, you said "blue shithole" like a dozen times, get some variety at least.
If you did some research, you'd know that "Blue cities" have many different divisions, ranging from places that are impoverished, to the economic centers of the state they're in. They tend to value diversity more than rural areas because the diversity of the city amplify the success of the city, and the presence of various viewpoints make voters tend to skew left.
All that is to say that those "shitholes" frequently bring in substantial income that goes to the rural areas of the state
•
u/papibigdaddy 6h ago
Sanctuary cities have 35.5 fewer crimes on average than non-sanctuary cities. Red states have far worse crime than blue states. Blue states subsidize most red states with few exceptions. If blue states didn't give far more per dollar than they receive, states like Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi would collapse harder than they already are. Even worse, when blue city voters elect leaders and vote for local referendums that make life better, the state government steamrolls them. DeSantis made it illegal for Tampa to raise their minimum wage. Houston had a successful pilot program to combat homelessness and Abbott destroyed it and made it illegal for cities to mandate water breaks for outdoor workers. Red states are a giant net negative on society and the rest of us foot the bill.

Decay?
I've been to cities in Oklahoma and Louisiana that were less developed than villages in Sudan.
Middle America is an embarrassment.
•
u/DragonWarrior980 6h ago
I hope there’s no violence, because it only makes this power grab look even more ridiculous. They’re not stopping crime—they’re wasting money and getting everyone primed for when things really fall apart. Even if the entire country revolted against the GOP and they had practically zero votes, this regime would still refuse to leave Congress or the White House.
Frankly, as an Oakland native, it’s hard for me to imagine tanks rolling down the street without things erupting. And there are worse places than Oakland that they’re ignoring, like Memphis, TN. The whole exercise feels like unconstitutional nonsense.
•
u/BothCan8373 31m ago
My extended family thinks oakland is some sort of hellhole. I love oakland. I wish I could drag them over here to just take a walk around Lake Merritt and see how much of a "hellhole" it is. But they never will.
Oakland has problems sure, but like...you guys know your local rural hospital is getting shut down and not a single person has moved TO your town in 15 years right?...
•
u/ballzdedfred 7h ago
"We'll take legal action" wtf. Really? Military is in your streets, and that's the response?
•
u/Number6isNo1 6h ago
What's he supposed to do? Tell the CPD to stop them? The police union in DC looooved this shit (until DHS wanted to put in their own police commissioner, then they were like hold on a minute).
•
u/ShamelessCatDude 6h ago
Hey, maybe it’ll happen again. Anything to get this to not take lives, right?
•
u/Number6isNo1 6h ago
Realistically, what do you suggest? I'm seriously all ears.
•
u/ShamelessCatDude 6h ago
I just meant that the police deciding to stop corroborating as easily over something stupid like that happening again might save some people’s lives. Even if I had ideas it’s not like I can implement them, I don’t live in a major city.
I’m just kinda banking on the soldiers acting like they did in LA and DC and people not getting seriously hurt. Just depends on if Chicagoans push it too far and give Trump what he wants or if Trump dies in the next hour and all of a sudden Vance is in control
•
•
u/Past-Effort-172 6h ago
My buddy was just in DC with his family. All the troops he saw were at all the monuments and museums taking pictures.
•
u/zmunky Puerto Rico 6h ago
Can someone explain to me why the mayor doesn't just order and use the police against them IF they arrive? The mayor could make that threat very publicly.
•
u/OccidoViper 6h ago
Because then it will give Trump the excuse for an insurrection. He could then mobilize more federal troops. That is what Trump wants. He is trying to provoke people to do something so he can declare martial law
•
u/Bobbachuk 3h ago
I don’t think anyone wants to find out what would happen next, that could easily get messy assuming the police would even follow the mayor’s order and oppose the feds in the first place. Many cops likely support the troops coming in.

This ain't DC. This is Chicago.
With that stupid comparison, I'm sure people in DC would just love you if you had any chance.

You know how Gavin Newsom's Twitter started pretending he was crass like Trump?
He was just pretending. I hope you are as well.

By what I have read in maga posts, they feel trump is fighting crime (no cape involved). So how long will these occupations go on, because crime never fully goes away. And once trump is gone, would vance continue policy this to become the most hated VP to prez ever?
•
u/ChinookKing 2h ago
Maybe if Americans got off their asses and voted we wouldn't be living in a fn fascist authoritian police state.

Calling Trump’s military threats a ‘flagrant violation’ of the Constitution hits the core issue public safety can’t come at the expense of democratic rights.
•
u/Spare_Dig_7959 49m ago
If you don't like what I'm doing I'm gonna get my father/National guard on you .
•
•
u/pogishushu America 6h ago
You can't really call it a "Flagrant Violation" if the SC (Scum Crumbs) have already given tRump pretty much free reign to do as he pleases, including removing sections of our Constitution already. Shitler and the 2025 Gestapo have pretty much silenced the opposition, if there was any. AND that is our fault in allowing them to do this with only a few of our congressmen actually trying to stop them.
