Bands like Lords of Light

Does anyone have recommendations for bands like Lords of Light? They were super weird and they ripped. I saw them on tour with Iron Lung. They called themselves unorthodox grind, but I think PV is fitting.

August the singer has been in a lot of great bands. Start there.

Society of Friends: posted above.

Basement Animal: not sure if they ever released anything on vinyl. I have a CDr from a tour they did.

Walls: a GREAT band with Jensen from IL and the guitarist of Cold Sweat. Kind of their attempt to write songs like SWANS.
