I used to hate that song just because it was built around what I perceived as a programmed sequence in a time whe I hated synths and all.

Now I love it. It has immense power. What an album closer!

Yup. As long as you can get over the synth dominance, (which was never too hard for me cuz I’m quite partial to the new wave sound) Grace Under Pressure in general is just one of the most gripping Rush albums.

In my synth-hating days I used to stop my Rush discography listening endeavours around Moving Pictures. Only later did I realize what I'd been missing the whole time, and, you phrased it perfectly - Grace is a gripping album. And it still has those fun Rush insanities, which I feel were a little bit toned down for the next couple albums.

Yes I’m aware. I was just talking about synth era rush in general and taking the time to glaze Grace under Pressure a bit because it’s an awesome album

Interesting to hear such differing opinions in this one. My favourite tune on the album. The sound is so interesting. No reverb, very flat sounding vocal with that rickenbacker bass forward. But that's just me. I've been a bug fan since I first saw them on the original 2112 tour.

Probably my favorite on this album. Killer bass work, great lyrics

One of the few older Rush songs that is just ok to me. Weakest song on the album in my opinion.
