My 4 year old daughter is hitting her ‘princess’ phase, and we’ve been playing Gryphon (mostly MnMr) as our ‘courtly’ music! Simply the best way to sneak a little prog over a tea party.

Who is the better bassist? Please explain why

Has anyone gone to see the current Carl Palmer tour/event? It’s coming to somewhere an hour and a half from me this week and I’m debating taking off from work to go. Any one go? What did you think?

Apologies, please kindlilily, for posting & then deleting almost immediately 🙄 (incase anybobble noticed): I posted the wrong item, through getting my Spotify^® addresses mixed-up! 😆🤣

I had a free hour away from the kiddos a couple days ago and recorded a quick cover of Resolution by Mahavishnu orchestra with a backing track I recorded. Not exactly the most challenging tune but there was no backing track to it out there so I made one by recording or programming all the parts. I’m working on improving my production skills as I want to record some original music. I’ll be uploading just the backing track in the next week or so. It’s just a hobby for me with a full time job and three kids but I’d really appreciate a like or follow on YouTube as I plan on transcribing more and making more backing tracks for more obscure prog and fusion stuff. I’d like to get more and more involved with music again over the next few years after several years away.. anyway that’s all for now. Thanks!

Nothing REALLY hard. I'd consider myself almost intermediate. I can usually learn the solos I want to, and can transcribe them often.
