Hi everyone! My name is Vasily, I'm a singing keyboardist/pianist. My love for prog started with Tarkus, and with several years in the making, I've finally finished my own cover version.

I hope you'll enjoy! If you like it, then subscribe, because I'm going to post many prog classics covers on the channel!

Cover Bjorn Riis - Illhug (Cover)

So I transcribed the acoustic opener from Bjorn Riis’ new solo album, and took a stab at a cover of it this morning playing all the parts, because I wanted to experiment with recording acoustic in my new recording set up. I learned I would probably benefit from a couple new mics. And maybe playing with mic placement to limit string noise.

I’m still playing with the mix but here is my quick mix. Also new to editing videos so a little rough around the edges there but I think it came out ok.

Let me know what you think! Apparently “Illhug” is Norwegian for Rowdiness or Mischief, which seems a bit of a misnomer here… but a lovely acoustic segment to open up the album!

Cover I just started learning stick ten days ago, so logically the right song to learn was In The Court of The Crimson King - King Crimson (which doesn’t feature any Stick parts)

After getting a Stick/Touch Bass ten days ago, of course I went to learn a King Crimson song without a Stick part

I got a Chapman Stick / Warr Guitars adjacent instrument ten days ago, and I’ve been having an absolute blast learning how to play it! It’s been a challenge playing in two different tunings at the same time in different directions, but I’m loving it :) Here’s a quick video I made this morning of a section of In The Court of the Crimson King by King Crimson on Stick :)

Hey everyone! I just released my vocal cover of DAMOCLES, one of Sleep Token’s most powerful tracks. Recorded in Rio de Janeiro, I tried to capture all the vulnerability and intensity of the original.

Would love your feedback!

Which Sleep Token track should I cover next?

Cover Anathema Flying Cover Demo. Anyone to help mastering it??

Hello all! Was checking my old files and saw this project that I worked on few years ago but did not publish since I was not happy with the edits. I am terrible at mixing and was wondering if anyone think my cover sounds good and should I continue it? Anyone with good mixing skills to help? The full version is acoustic with orchestra, I also improvised and added a section to have it hype before ending. Let me what you think!
