My friend's psp is weird, so I opened it and found that one element in that part is missing. If i bridge it with tweezers or something, the psp turns on, otherwise we have to connect it to the charger for a long time to turn it on. I think it can be solved by finding that part of the part and reconnecting it, but I don't know the type of part. Does anyone know?

I'm got this PSP years ago from my cousin and barely used it til now. I know the service doesn't work but I can't get rid of the icon for it (I'm on the latest Ark-4 update, after updating to the 6.1 OFW), so I figured I might as well turn it into a "functioning" app but can't find the download ANYWHERE. Got this message when I tried using the internet archive to download. I'm guessing they archived this result from the link and couldn't archive the successful download.

My music won't play on my psp but I know these files aren't corrupted because I can play them on my computer of the sd card.

Can someone please help I've been at this for 2 days

Hi, i’m running ark 4 6.61 CFW. I downloaded a few PSX roms and they all seem to show up fine in the XMB, but whenever i start them up. The warnings show and then it crashes and an error shows up saying it failed to start, anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Hi everyone, I have a strange issue with my PSP 3001. Every time I remove the battery, turn off, or restart the console, whenever I launch a game the character starts moving on its own (like in the video). If I slightly move the joystick, it goes back to normal and works fine after that.

I already cleaned the joystick and tried recalibrating it, but the problem still happens.

what could it be?

I have a white PSP, and just today playing at night I noticed those 4 lights at the top, is it normal for them to light up like that?

Yo what’s up guys. Found my blue PSP from my childhood (I also have the GOW edition) and was wondering what’s the best CFW? What’s the best for emulators? What’s a great memory stick? Etc etc. I’m trying to go crazy with this one so any help is much appreciated.

I got a psp 3001 not too long ago and had it for a few weeks and its been working great! I decided to do a shell swap to fit with the theme i want for it. As soon as i hooked up the motherboard to power in the new housing I hooked up the screen to test it and worked great. I unhooked it and then continued hooking everything else back up till all I had left was the front face plate so before i put that on i decided to test one more time and lo and behold, the screen doesn't turn on!

I heard the speakers and was able to interact with the time and date settings but saw nothing. I turned off the room lights and held a flashlight to the screen and faintly saw it as i interacted with it so I've determined the backlight is the issue. I tried unplugging it and re-plugging it a few times to no avail so I decided it was likely the backlight fuse. I believe I found it after a lot of scouring the internet (small black square on the back of the motherboard labelled FB afaik). I took it apart to access the fuse and just connected the power switch (via the sensor for the x, circle, triangle, and square buttons), the power plug adapter, and the screen to the motherboard and I planned to turn it on and bridge fuse with some metal like i saw in this video to see if it turned on. Before I even had the chance, the screen turned on and worked fine. I was confused but I just put it back and made triple sure everything was plugged in snug and it once again DID NOT WORK when I connected it to power.

I have no fucking clue what the issue is ATP so if anyone knows anything or has any ideas I would be very appreciative!
