Is it worth it for a recent undergrad in public health science BSPH should go get a mendígalo assistant certification in order to do research assistant work?

I had a research assistant job right out of undergrad and never heard of that certification; definitely not necessary.

@patternedpants I have been applying for many research assistant jobs in miami, Florida. And every time I apply I’m not considered for the job because of my lack of experience even though i have done casework management and have worked in a medical office. Do you have any advice for me to applying for a research job? Or how I can exactly find a research assistant internship?
