I've seen this one too and was surprised how big it is. You can't get a feel for the scale of these things until you're up close.

Awesome! Just went to the Dix park block party last night and it was way more fun than it had any right to be. They are really doing some cool stuff

how was parking at that event, out of curiosity? i went to a few events at dix a few years ago but the parking situation was horrendous so i stopped going altogher, although i'd like to go back if they have good solutions in place now that are better meant to manage the volume

They had parking lot attendees and signs up for full lots. I found a spot at one of the newer parking lots they built for the play plaza pretty quickly

forgot there were 5 being installed at Dix until the Dix Park Conservancy made an update this week
also cool there will be individual ones installed in High Point and Charlotte... "here Charlotte, you are 20% as cool as Raleigh"

Yes I think so. It’s been a few years but I remember we walked through some gardens

Came across one of these in a park in Austin earlier this year. They are very cool, I'm excited about these!

Check out his work: https://www.thomasdambo.com/works
Raleigh often gets their art projects wrong, but these trolls are uber cool.
