Stumbled across a YT video about Pedro Caixhinha, and interestingly it spoke about Warburton's stats at the end of his tenure and how his side-to-side football created very little chances and shipped a lot of goals in the SPL.
Striking similarity to the stats we see with RM and I'd say the football we play now is objectively worse to watch than anything I've seen at Ibrox for years.

That OF game has bought him more time by veering away from that style but given how Thelwell spoke about everyone having the same idea of how they want to play, I can see things going tits up again shortly. They seem to think they can blether their way into making everyone £100m players.

That's a key point for me, player type/quality. Unless we have a big tactical shift like Clement tried, we are going to have 60% plus possession in league games, so we need players who are comfortable with that.
Trying to force that on players who aren't comfortable with it has happened a lot over the years. Lundstram for example, always thought he wasn't technical enough to be a deep playmaker, where guys like Davis, Kamara and even Jack, were much better suited.
This is where I thought Rothwell would come in, to take the midfield up a level by adding extra control in there. So far he has just looked unfit and clashes with Raskin.

New President song is a banger. Charlie Simpson is a very talented man

And a handsome one at that. Was lucky enough to hang out with him at Biffy Clyro gigs in New York in 2004 with barely anyone else there. We helped smuggle him in and get him steaming as he was under 21 at the time.

Best case scenario is Martin uses the international break to try other tactics cos this just won't work

Absolutely no chance we win the league under RM. Celtic are shite but they’ll still win the league at a canter. I’d still fancy us to drop more points before they do.
Sack the floppy-haired wee call centre manager and get literally anyone in - i’d even take McInnes at this point - and I think we would win the league.

We both know that’s no gonny happen. The guy’s a fucking dafty and won’t change his style or tactics, by the time he’s sacked Celtic will be 15 points clear

it might not happen, but they’re enough of a shambles that I have hope. No point in getting pre depressed for January - May time, long season ahead!
Obviously when Rangers start playing again I’ll be back to being depressed but the idea of us playing well with a new team excites me at least

They are absolutely there for the talking. They are a shambles and their morale is in the toilet on the pitch and in the stadium.
Sadly we appointed Russell Martin and will struggle to keep pace.
They'll drop lots of points this season, but we will drop more under Martin. His style doesn't create many open play chances. You can literally count all the open play chances we've created on one hand after 11 games. That is an absolutely mental thing to say. Even with worse teams and meme managers, I've never seen us create so little in open play in 11 bloody games.
We'll probably go on a long unbeaten run, but there will be a shit ton of draws in them. His style doesn't create much for us, but creates total chaos in our defence. Expect for Celtic, where he changed and sat in more. We give up multiple chances a game. So we might score but we'll concede a ton aswell.
Basically if he doesn't massively alter what his vision is, these horrific uncreative performances will continue untill the inevitable eventually happens. We can't play like we did against Celtic in other games either, as it created absolutely fucking nothing in open play.
Sickening that thanks to Martin, we are letting them sleep walk into another title.

Got banned from Scottish football yesterday and the mods are refusing to reply to me as to why. Might have to wage warfare and start r/Scottishiestfootballier in retaliation. Rough times.
