Why does that matter? Would it make a difference if it was shown after 1 min? 3 min? 5 min? At what point does it matter?
Are you saying they are manipulating the VAR video? If so, that's the most absurd, unreasonable and ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You clearly don't know how this technology works if you think that's even a possibility. If refs are doing this, then why even have refs? Why even play the sport? Why does this sport even exist? Even if you don't understand the tech, at some point you have to just trust that they are acting in good faith, otherwise it's not worth even watching the game anymore.
Are you saying they are manipulating the VAR video?
I am not saying it is happening, but the longer it takes to show the images, the higher the possibility of manipulation.
You clearly don't know how this technology works if you think that's even a possibility.
Do you know how it works? The initial touch and the position of the players are automated, as well as the 3D render wirh the lines. The "semi" part of "Semi Automated Offside Technology" is the confirmation of that initial touch and other variables, like interference in the game, ball dispute, etc. VAR refs can determine that the initial touch is incorrect and have the system select a different one (earlier or posterior), then the system generates a new render. If there are no alterations, the render is available within seconds, and the VOR should send it to the broadcaster.
If someone in the VOR was changing the initial touch multiple times until they got the "right" render, then it would take longer for the image to be available for the live broadcast. Then, seeing a difference of several minutes between a close call and a normal call can raise suspicion.
If refs are doing this, then why even have refs? Why even play the sport? Why does this sport even exist?
The best way to avoid this and suspicions is to have transparency, release the logs that would show these multiple attempts, and release the audios.
Eloquent reply. But come on man. There no way you believe that this type of manipulation is actually happening. "selecting the appropriate last touch that I want so that I can get the render I want to see". Honestly, if you believe this is standard practice, I can't really reason with you. Sure, that's a possibility. Is it probable? No. That would be the end of the refs association for allowing that. Just because something is possible, doesn't mean it's probable. Have some common sense and stop believing in conspiracy theories. They're bought, they're corrupt, everyone is against my team and they'll stop it nothing to make sure this call goes a certain way. I can't man, just ridiculous. Can't be reasoned with.

You thinking this angle gives you a definitive answer is a joke right?
The actual lines are in the video you’re responding to, it’s an incredibly small margin, but it’s offside.
