You can just tell he is blessed with an insane vision. Got more confident as the match progressed.

Güler has a skill that Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouameni, and Fede do not. He is so good on the ball and so good at making those incisive passes. I don’t know how you take him out of the XI.

Jude is also incredible on the ball, but those incisive passes are indeed Guler's signature move.

Jude is a complete midfielder and also has insane vision but it’s true none of our midfielders can pass the way guler can.

I saw lots of features of him. But today I learned a new one that he is a game changer. Team depends on his performance. When he wakes up, team wakes up. When he is not good then team is not good.

So he is literally the answer to our biggest problem then! He just needs consistency, which he will get by playing a lot more than ever while training with the best of the best on a daily!

Arda Güler still has a lot to learn and a lot to grow but one thing is sure he can become toptier because he has unique attributes and the right mentallity. He is giving you stats after stats G/A‘s after G/A‘s with performing „mid“ wait untill he fully develops. Remember this is still his first season where he actually plays. Xabi is doing the right thing and investing in Arda. Soon enough he will be our Modric/Kroos.

Yeah and he's also only 20 years old. His ceiling is very high

Ancelotti basically wasted a whole year.

u/DoriOli Fernando Redondo 8d ago

Yup

7

u/MazanSicario 9d ago

Left food is blessed. His passes are weighted so damn good!!!

u/kirmizikopek 9d ago

This is his first header goal in his professional career.

With a 4-4-2 diamond formation, Guler will be free to give those cut through passes to Vini and Mbappe.

I just don’t wanna make it more complicated who have been having hard time to confess the talent and potential this boy have; however, Arda Guler is distinctively more creative and surprising player than Bellingham as well, anyone who actually played a bit of football easily see it…again, Bellingham might be a superior athlete but not a more capable footballer than him. Period. And people comparing him with, lets say, Diaz last year now talking about him like he may be a starter if he works hard :)) I tell you now that next year many people wont be able to compare him with anybody in Madrid (I also think Valverde and Huijsen are amazing players for some other reasons I cannot delve into) I also tell you that he is already working so hard and his canceled goal may be added back to the score after the meeting in FIFA. Yes, this young man is always affecting the score and he will be seen as he is truly himself when he will finally be given the trust and freedom just like the so called superstars of the team have been enjoying by doing whateve they like doing in games…and one last thing, you wont see this young man in degenerate parties doing stupid things or showing off…he has a very tight moral compass as well and will be a kind of player you wouldn’t be worried about his image or representative capacity…so some people should please stop trying to speculate on this boy for a shot he missed or a pass he could not make (again, if he has the freedom that some other players are selfishly enjoying, we would be able to watch a superb goal in every two weeks; but he cannot, because he knows many people are waiting for him to make a single mistake just to talk about some other mediocre dude they like for no reason in the team) and just enjoy watching him…

Let's be honest this was far from guler's best match. Still scored though so GG but the rest wasn't something to write home about.

The point is every time he is on the field, you have this expectation that he ll do something out of no where.. he is not dribbling monster, passing all the defenders etc.. But he has his magic in a way.. he can pass a defender with an elegant move, he can give an amazing pass out of nowhere and cause a goal or he can have a great shot/ goal with his left foot. thats why it’s always fun to watch him.. you never know whats gonna come next..

and his smarts 🧠 about the game + the way he makes everything look so simple, are next level. This kid is gonna keep on improving a lot from here on, which’ll make him an extremely dangerous player for all other teams to come. But no, yesterday wasn’t his best game ever for us. I can agree with that.

-11

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

They gonna you a hater soon.

2

u/DiscountNo8806 9d ago

He is so damnnn good..if he was playing last year in midfield, our midfield would not have been that bad and would have won some of those matches we lost. For the ones favoring others instead of Arda, yeah they were great last year. They are better that we went zero in all trophies.

Punto...

u/DoriOli Fernando Redondo 8d ago

I was calling for him to play more all season last season, while getting downvoted for it here in this sub

1

u/trensetter13 8d ago

To think last year this thread was filled w vini and guler hate lol

1

u/Ready_Ad_1353 Real Madrid 9d ago

He should be in the team even if Bellingham is back, he has shown much improvement and growth in the first 3 games to be a starter.

-1

u/Vasea11 Valverde 9d ago

When he gets the ball he is too static, he doesn't have that ability to carry the ball forward, also if he gets the ball while being with his back at the goal he just passes it back because he is not capable of turning and covering the ball. On the other hand his first touch passes to break the lines are pretty good, has good positioning in the box and a good shot, with all this being said I don't think he has what it needs to be world class in midfield. But I hope he proves me and everyone else wrong, he has a lot of heart.

2

u/intelligence3 8d ago

He still has the time to improve those little things. Hope he does

2

u/sebisebo 7d ago

he has the capability to carry the ball forward and also the skill to turn and cover the ball. However, he is mentally too cautious yet. The more comfortable he gets the more you will see that he is able to do all those things.

-19

u/KingEtame Vinicius Jr. 9d ago

Sure, let's pick and choose the highlights that portray him in a good light... At least have some integrity, people.

9

u/AbrocomaRegular3529 9d ago

People like to overrate Arda, especially turkish fans, but you gotta admit this guy gets a lot of "man of the match" ranking from many sources. Which should tell something. He has always high passing rate around 90%, which is also a lot.

I think this because his playstyle and skills is exactly what madrid needs and exactly what they lack.

3

u/Olancho1504 9d ago

lol there’s a play around 61-63 min Mark where there’s a counter attack play and he decides to take on two players instead of passing and just looks silly to me. I hope he improves

0

u/Bounq3 Iker Casillas 8d ago

I'm growing tired of the content of this sub pushing the Arda fanboyism at every chance as well..

2

u/QuoteGlittering3995 8d ago

Oh, boohoo. What a horrible thing! 😅

-9

u/Fun-Draft4512 PUTA :mes_que: 9d ago

Exactly, still a meh performance for me but happy with the win

-47

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

He is so mid

20

u/hijazist Real Madrid 9d ago

You’re right, he’s a top midfield player

-20

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

Top is crazy. Buddy gets bodied left and right. He just disappears into thin air the moment a defender gets within arm's length. The dude has the physical presence of a ghost. He is inconsistent in tight spaces. He is a 7/10 def, not MOTM, but sure, downvote me because I'm not sucking his dick.

17

u/YatoGami28 9d ago

Agree that he is easilier bodied. But not incosistent at all with tight spaces. Probably the only one that can make plays in these positions. . Youre just hating to hate. But ofcourse he still needs to progress more, but thats why hes playing

-7

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

Yeah, he is good and going to get better. You just want to make a hater. I'm not hating. I'm saying yall are glazing. overating a player isn't good. Especially today's performance was the worst this season imo. But sure he get MOTM.

3

u/YatoGami28 9d ago

Sure i agree, first 30mins he wasnt that active and sleeping too much. He awakened after the water pause. Needs to get his shit together to be more impactfull.

Hope he will learn from this

2

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

Yeah, I'm not hating. I genuinely rate him. But some people on here want me to suck his dick. I wouldn't say anything if people on here weren't "what an arder guler masterclass"

Like we struggled, and it was a home game where we should dominate.

8

u/NoValueAdder 9d ago

“I’m not hating” but calls him mid?

8

u/hijazist Real Madrid 9d ago

How am I supposed to take you seriously when you flip your mind from one extreme to the other in less than 6 months?

You literally compared him to Ozil and Zizou and said we should be patient. Now that he’s cooking and winning MotM game after game you’re saying he’s mid? I swear smthn is really off with you guys

-1

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

It was a post about heritage, not comparison. Media literacy is in the garbage.

9

u/hijazist Real Madrid 9d ago

lol just take the L bro. Not only you compared them, you also said we should be patient with him yet you’re writing him off after 3 games, even though he’s COOKING.

-1

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

What L? it's not my fault you're slow. I specifically said in the post that I'm am glad Ancelotti isn't rushing to start him and endrick, so they have time to develop, and not too much responsibility or pressure.

9

u/hijazist Real Madrid 9d ago

What a weirdo. Asking people to be patient yet you’re writing him off after 3 games. He’s winning man of the match, scoring and cooking in midfield and creating tons of chances, top in all of Europe. What more do you want from him?

Big of you to call me slow when you’re that stupid and full of hate jfc

-1

u/busyblckboy Xabi Alonso 9d ago

You're begging it. I don't know why yall are acting like he is perfect. OK you tell me what do you think he could have done better or do you think he is perfect and deserves motm

5

u/hijazist Real Madrid 9d ago

It was between him or Carreras. He changed the game once he got his shit together. Who else you think should win it? It’s a mediocre match so no one stand out

You aren't wrong

-7

u/LambSauce2 8d ago

You guys know he is only playing because Bellingham is out right...

3

u/tennessyX Arda Güler 8d ago

He was starting in CWC when Jude was playing tho? Lamb

2

u/sebisebo 7d ago

You didn't watch the CWC then.
