Narvi's excellent adventure (yesterday) vs Yanks, 8/23/25

Narváez had gone a bit quiet with the bat, especially around the time he was dealing with a tweaked knee. Yesterday, he went 3 for 4, scored 2ce, and had a 2 run blast in the 9th inning, though by this time the score was deliciously lopsided so it's really not been mentioned at all. mentioning so it's not totally lost in this massively fun series.

He is 2nd in caught stealing stats, and among the top in most other defensive categories (but a little lower for pop time).

Great game, Narvi!

Here is the home run:

Did you see his stats against Rodon? I love that he gets revenge on his former team!!!

yes - he really seems to enjoy playing them!

Ever think that because he was a catcher with them is the reason we own them this year? I do. We have 9 years of Yankee pitching knowledge in that guy.

It did jolt his confidence last time so I’ll take it :) I think Rafaela did well against him too so that’s good.

He is getting so painfully overlooked in the rookie of the year race. I get Nick Kurtz is running away with it but he's still doing an amazing job and essentially bailed out our season.

We'd be on the outside of the playoffs looking in if he was a typical rookie catcher.

Maybe cuz he doesn’t come across as a rookie at ALL. I joke, but he does not give rookie vibes at all.
