comics Respect The Hulk (Marvel Comics, Earth 6160)

"Eventually people will wonder, did the Ultimates ever really exist, or were they just a myth? Only the council will know the truth."

When The Maker went back in time to rebuild the world in his own image, he found he was too late to prevent the accident that turned Bruce Banner into Hulk. So instead of simply killing Hulk off like he had done with many others, he instead offered him to join his council. Hulk accepted, and while this Hulk is not as cruel as his original Ultimate counterpart, he is seemingly more evil than him.

"I believe that some people--many, even--are capable of achieving a state of inner calm that presents as peace. I have to believe it. I've devoted my life to it.”

This Hulk became one of my favorite versions overnight. You might want to add him lopping She Hulk's head off with the same move he used to shatter Iron Lad's shields. It technically happened but Doom reversed it through the Immortus Machine. And he did all this in a relatively calm state of mind.

Did a new issue come out? I've never seen that happen so far

I feel you. He's a villain but he's more on the necessary evil side, which is totally different from the ambitions of Maestro or the motives of Devil Hulk. This Hulk also shows how a Bruce Banner with a complete psyche would function. His Children of Eternal Light is basically a cult following much like the Shadow Priests of Sakaar and a crime syndicate like the mafia in Las Vegas he worked for as Joe Fixit. His IQ has allowed him to learn all the secrets of 5000 years of wisdom from K'un Lun. His life philosophy allowed him control of his rage. This has resulted in him being permanently in Hulk form and in full control of his powers. The icing on top is his mastery of martial arts and he has the Iron Fist. Bonus points for him doing all the feats you've collected in a calm state of mind. Imagine what he's capable of once he actually lets out his rage.

I really hope they show more of this character and give him his own series or have him cross over to other universes. This Hulk has the potential to be incredibly popular just like Cosmic Ghost Rider.
