Che Heart is the main protagonist of Ordeal. Born to two God Tiers, Che was the former host of the Thanatos Talent, a talent that his mother would take from him to save his life. His parents would die. Growing up, he would train under Leo Thomas, his mentor....however Leo's life would be taken away by Rotash. Afterwards, Che would gain Leo Thomas Talent, the Ilios Talent, during a match. He would engage in a variety of different conflicts, such as during the Greenland War, and grow alongside the members of the Red Ember Gym.

Terms

• Kimyos: A type of race that is in the Ordeal Universe. Kimyos possess a minor enhancement to strength, endurance and regeneration ^{Chapter 1}. They also possess special abilities known as Talents, which are basically superpowers. Kimyo have different classifications for their powers ^{Chapter 5}. Talents can be given via three different methods, namely either upon death, via the talent being a object, or forcefully taking it ^{Chapter 15}. Che's power that he inherited from his master, Leo Thomas. He would gain it during his match with Nanika. Ilios is a talent where it can either trigger between a mode that is passive or a an active one ^{Chapter 27}. It is called as one of the four great talents ^{Chapter 10}. From another user of the talent, the way that Che generates his flames is explained by using own body temperature to create large flames ^{Chapter 44}
