Hated how they all got shafted in place of Fourarms and Heatblast. And Heatblast even got shafted when compaired to how much he used Fourarms. Fourarms, IMO, was his most boring alien, and yet he was used the most. I would have loved to see more of Blitzwolf, Wildvine, Upgrade, Ditto, XLR8, etc
BUT NOPE, YOU GET MORE CANNONBALL AND FOURARMS, BOY! Oh, and we have a really strong threat? You know what would be stupid? If we had Ben come up with awesome combo attacks with some of his lesser used aliens. Instead, let's have him use Way Big everytime he gets close to losing.
My salt is real. On an unrelated note; didn't he at one point get Ghostfreak back, but as a super powerful creepy version?

When researching for this RT and the Upgrade one, I was really surprised how little they were used. Almost all their appearances were in Omniverse. It is nice though that Omniverse did that. That was the one good thing about Ben choosing aliens randomly: more aliens are used. All but three appear, and all but two were intended to appear at some point. The whole reason Jetray isn't is that he's 'overused' and Fasttrack isn't because Ben has XLR8.
That was the case in Alien Force, but after the episode he's never used in Alien Force again(Ben doesn't even fight as Ghostfreak in that episode). And in Ultimate Alien and Omniverse he has different designs. Ghostfreak is the only alien to have a different look for four series.
That's dumb. I guess because Big Chill did everything that Ghostfreak did+Ice Power? And it makes me sad because of how little some of the niche aliens are used. Like Fastrack, Ditto, Wildmutt, Stinkfly, Ripjaws. I get that there are better aliens for all of their uses (XLR8 for FT, EchoEcho for Ditto, SpiderMonkey for Wildmutt, Jetray for Stinkfly and Ripjaws), but I thinking was a crappy design choice. To just bring in cool aliens and then have them be obselete. That's one big problem I had with Ultimate Alien, is that it was almost assured that Ben would use nothing but Ultimate Aliens. Granted, UA did give us Ultimate EchoEcho, who looked super cool, but I still am kinda dissapointed with it.
I'm more disappointed UA didn't give the ultimates nearly enough screen time. By the end we'd only seen eight of the over forty aliens Ben had at the time get ultimates. And Fasttrack's actually been said by the creators to be stronger then XLR8, but he still gets benched in Omniverse. So does Jetray and Chamalien(who only appeared for a couple seconds in the entire franchise).
Chamalien. Man, don't even get me started, lmfao. Overall, I think we can agree that there was tons of content that they could have used in the older series while they were hot. But instead they went the safe way. Let's hope if they reboot it again after OV, that they go for more alien showing off.
I just wanted to see the missing aliens from Omniverse in an Omniverse design. And the road trip that Ben, Kevin, Rook, and Gwen were going to go on sounded cool too.
