Biography
Jinbe is a character from the long running anime and manga One Piece by Eiichiro Oda.
A member of the Fishman species (specifically a whale shark fishman), Jinbe was initially introduced as a member of the Shicibukai, but would later go on to renounce his title and side with Whitebeard and Luffy during the Battle of Marineford, as well as during the Fishman Island and Whole Cake Island arcs.
Jinbe has, throughout his life, been a soldier, a pirate captain as well as Shicibukai, and is widely respected for his honourable and fair nature towards both Fishmen and humans. He is a master of Fishman Karate, having earnt a black belt in it as a child.
As a fishman, Jinbe is naturally able to breath underwater and is adept at swimming, both at and below the surface.
Like most Fishmen, Jinbe is notably larger than most normal humans
Authority & Status
Jinbe has held many ranks throughout his life, including solider in King Neptune's army, member of the Sun Pirates and Shichibukai. As a Fishman, Jinbe is naturally able to communicate with all fish, including sharks.
Flashback
Jinbe served in King Neptune's army, and while his rank was never made clear, he had some authority over other soldiers
During his time in the Sun Pirates, Jinbe was originally second-in-command, however following the death of Fisher Tiger, Jinbe became the captain
Pre-timeskip
Combat Skill
Haki
Haki is a mysterious power that all living things in the One Piece Universe possess, but it can only be used either through training or, in rare cases, subconciously.
So far Jinbe has demonstrated use of Busoshuko, or Armament Haki. This is a hardening of the power to provide greater durability and striking power.
Note: Jinbe has probably used Haki several other times in the series, however for this section I will only include feats where the armament is confirmed to have happened.
Post-timeskip
Jinbe hardens his arms to defend against the attacks of some of Big Mom's pirates
Jinbe again hardens his arms, this time to block and a swing from an enlarged flaming sword weilded by Big Mom. While Jinbe survives the attack, he is thrown back a considerable distance by it and it appears to draw blood
Fishman Karate
Jinbe is a blackbelt in Fishman Karate, having mastered the art at an incredibly young age. He is considered a master at the art, and is so proficient at it that he doesn't even need to make physical contact with his opponent to defeat them. Jinbe explains that the nature of Fishman Karate is about sending shockwaves through the water in the immediate vicinity, including the water vapour and the water within people. Most, if not all of these feats double as strength feats.
Pre-timeskip
Karakusagawara Seiken: Punches the air in front of several guards; after a few seconds they are blown away
Gosenmaigawara Seiken: Takes out one of the demon guards of Impel Down with one strike
Mizu-Gokoro, Ocean Current Ippon Seoi: Jinbe literally grabs part of the sea from underwater and hurls it such that a pillar of water flies high into the air and lands on the deck of a marine battleship. Jinbe repeats this mutliple times shortly after, and uses it again to throw Luffy in the Battle of Marineford
Spear Wave: Jinbe throws a spear of water with enough force to smash through an entire battleship
Uses seawater against Moriah's zombies, knowing that they are weak to salt
Post-timeskip
Samehada Shotei, Samegawara Seiken: Jinbe punches Luffy, which damages him despite his rubber body
Uchimizu: Jinbe throws a droplet of water with enough force to make it behave like a bullet. He is proficient enough with it that he deflected another Uchimizu thrown by Hody with his own, doubling it as a speed feat
Nanasenmaigawara Spinning Kick: Essentially a very powerful roundhouse kick, which is strong enough to stop Wadatsumi's punch and injure his hand, despite his clear size advantage
Gosenmaigawara Seiken: One-shots Charlotte Opera and disrupts Katakuri
Kairyuu Ipponzeoi: Jinbe fires a jet of tea (there was no seawater available, thus he improvised) at Katakuri who was holding Luffy captive, causing Luffy to get knocked free from Katakuri's grasp
Spear wave: Passing shower: Jinbe fires multiple spears of water in quick succession, disrupting Prometheus. It's worth noting that Luffy's Haki infused Jet Gatling had previously done nothing to Prometheus
Sea Current Lifter: Jinbe hurls a jet of seawater onto the Thousand Sunny from a noticable distance, which puts out the fire on the ship, weakens Prometheus and temporarily stops Big Mom's rampage
Buraikan: Jinbe encloses his fist in water, punching Big Mom and pushing her off the Thousand Sunny and a considerable distance over the ocean
Strength
Flashback
Pre-timeskip
Is able to swim whilst carrying a large, very heavy wooden door with Crocodile, Mr.1 & Buggy on board. Doubles as a speed feat due to how fast Jinbe is swimming at the time
Smashes Luffy against a rock with enough force to crack it and holds him there
Post-timeskip
Lands a powerful hit on Sanji & Luffy. Doubles as a durability feat as Jinbetakes Luffy's punch and remains concious. Bear in mind that there is an element of toon force in this feat as it's a gag.
Comes across a capsized ship and brings it back to the surface, righting it
Speed, agility & reflexes
Pre-timeskip
Post-timeskip
Dodges Prometheus' Heavenly Fire, pulling Nami and Brook to safety at the same time. He dodges Promtheus' attack again later on
Jumps from the surface of the sea to high above the Thousand Sunny
Durability
Flashback
Pre-timeskip
Mischellaneous
Post-timeskip
Isn't intimidated by Big Mom, preventing her from stealing his lifespan
Using one arm alone, Jinbe steers to Thousand Sunny into and along the "Green Room" of a giant wave to safety

Nice RT. Great to add the more recent feats as they appear.
Just a remark, though : Buraikan and Vagabond Drill are the same technique. Vagabond Drill simply is the Viz translation.

I thought that but wasn't sure. Thanks for the confirmation, i'll update the details.

Also, I think that Samehada Shotei only refers to the palm block he performed against Moria's scissors, and that he didn't show it after the timeskip yet. Could be checked with the anime.

Update of the old RT: improved formatting, added newer feats and just generally tidied things up. I'll update as new feats get added.
Also I have no idea what the best spelling of his name is; OP wiki says Jimbei is the official English spelling (which is supported by Pirate Warriors 3 where he's called Jimbei) but everyone seems to refer to him online as Jinbe, so I'll just go with that as it appears to be the more popular spelling.
