Terms to know
Cosmo or Cosmos is the main source of power in the Saint Seiya universe, cosmo means the universe, the origin of Cosmo is the Big Bang itself that gave birth to the whole universe. Cosmo is the source of life for any living being but also the cause of the existence of all the matter in the universe.However, while it is presented as a purely as destructive power that manifests as atomic destruction, with cosmo; one can almost do anything, such as cutting space-time, resisting mind-attacks or time-stop. There are several higher forms of cosmos as explained below.
7th Sense: A sense far beyond the human six (the sixth being intuition/mind or thinking and psychic powers). One who has mastered the Seventh Sense can fight on the level of a Gold Saint, move at or beyond the speed of light, and can burn their cosmos far beyond even a normal Cosmos user.
8th Sense: The ability to control your very soul, allowing you to go to and from the Underworld and revive yourself with your own Cosmos
9th Sense: The ability to burn your cosmos far beyond the 8th sense and into the realm of the Gods. 9th Sense users can at base, overpower the Athena Exclamation
Dunamis: The original Cosmos of the Gods, which combines all the elements and the power of chaos to create a power that "Spreads through infinity" . It should scale above all the other senses.
Miracles: The ability to burn your Cosmo far beyond your limits, powered by your own undying will. It allows humans to approach the power of the gods, and defeat the undefeatable.
Cloth: The armor worn by a Saint of Athena to protect them from their own powers. Bronze cloths are the weakest, then Silver Cloths, and the 12 Gold Cloths are the strongest.
Surplice: The Armor worn by a Spectre of Hades The Celestial Stars are the most powerful, being on par with high ranking Silver Saints and some of the gold saints with the three Judges of Hell being the strongest of all, as strong as the Gold saints if not more powerful.
Scale: The Armor worn by a Mariner of Poseidon. The Generals are the most powerful.
Athena Exclamation: The combined Cosmos of three Gold Saints focused onto a single point to replicate the Big Bang.

Status as a God
- Hades is Immortal, and like all gods in Saint Seiya, even if his body and soul are destroyed, he merely falls into a deep sleep instead of dying. In addition, Eris, Goddess of Discord states that as long as chaos exist, she will return, implying Gods exist as a concept and not as souls, (Translation: "You may have destroyed me... But, for as long as conflicts exist... Without a shadow of a doubt... The battlefields, the smell of blood... Will allow me to return once more." ) Hades is the God of the Afterlife so he will return a long as the Afterlife does.
- Gods cosmos paralyzes and drains the life force from foes.
- Gods' cosmos strikes fear in opponents
- Gods cosmos can force humans to obey them.
- Gods exist "Somewhere high" above humans in a different dimension that humans can't comprehend and time passes differently in their existence than in the human world
- Attacks without 9th sense or a God's cosmos will be reflected back at the attacker when facing a God
- As a God, he should have all the powers of other Cosmos users.
Note: In Episode G, which takes place seven years before Saint Seiya, Hades gained the powers of Cronus, his father. This power included the ability to destroy the time of the mortal "world" and "all of existence without exception". Feats before that time will be marked with [G].
Powers as a God
- [G] States he created the Underworld, Elysium and The Hyperdimension. While he states this long after G, the event itself took place long before he gained Cronus' powers. Hell was stated to be an endless realm divided into Eight Prisons, three valleys, ten malebogias, and four spheres. It also includes Yomotsu Hirasaka. In addition, the prisons are stated to exist beyond space and time and Shun, sent back in time 200 years, saw Seiya who was dying in the present in the Underworld. In Addition, the official guide states one of the prisons went on "forever" and Seiya echoes this statement. There's also a part of it that's just eternal darkness Suikyo would have wandered forever through if Athena hadn't saved him Elysium is also called "Endless" and the Hyperdimension has "ten billion" galaxies (In Spanish,they state "After traversing billions of galaxies and trillions of dark points" And in the original Japanese, it actually says tens of billions of lights and tens of billions of dark places. Each seems to agree, the Hyperdimension is the size of a universe) and it's stated falling from the path of the Hyperdimension would suck you into other dimensional space

- The official websites confirm he created The Underworld and Elysium
- When he died, the Underworld is shown to be destroyed and in ruins, endless darkness with rubble that may have been from the teleportation or the last remains of the Underworld. These last little bits are held together by the little bit of Hades that remains.

- Shun tapping into the dying embers of Hades power can see the deaths of multiple saints from an alternate universe.

Strength
- Slices through Ikki's God Cloth and cracks the Sacred Urn of Elysium, which "cannot be destroyed, even by Zeus' thunderbolts" and had repelled the blows of God Cloth Seiya and Ikki
- Slices through Seiya's God Cloth which had earlier no sold Thanatos attack, which destroyed the God Cloths
- Sends Athena in her Sacred Armor flying
- Cracks and splinters the god cloths of all five God Cloth saints with one blow
- Stabs through Seiya's God Cloth and grievously wounds him
Durability
- No Sells the Attacks of Shun, Hyoga and Shiryu in their God Cloths. For comparison, Shiryu and Hyoga oneshot another God, Hypnos in their God Cloths
- A barrage from all five Bronze Boys in God Cloths only mildly hurts him and enrages him. Besides the two mentioned before, Seiya oneshot Thanatos the God of Death.
- Though sent flying, pained and incapacitated (possibly KO'd) by Seiya's final miracle, he recovers in a few minutes
- Shiryu, Shun, Ikki and Hyoga in their God Cloths enraged by Seiya's sacrifice merely push him back, though he's immediately after killed by Athena
Speed
- [G] Has the 7th sense, which means he can move at Lightspeed and beyond.
- [G] Should be faster than Thanatos, whose attacks crossed Lightyears to kill Pandora in the Underworld while he was in Elysium and attacked Seika on Earth from Elysium
- [G] Should be faster than Shura, who surpassed the initial Expansion of the Big Bang
Telekinesis
- Sends Ikki flying
- Oneshots Ikki
- Sends God Cloth Seiya and Ikki flying
- Lifts the Sacred Urn of Elysium with Athena inside of it
- Lifts and retrieves his sword after recovering from Seiya's attack.
- Causes the Greatest Eclipse, where he telekinetically moves the planets of the solar system to block the Sun's rays permanently. He is in the Underworld at the time.
Dark Lightning
- Blasts back and hurts God Cloth Seiya and Ikki
- Creates a bolt in the sky in Elysium, an eternal cloudless meadow
- Wrecks God Cloth Seiya with it
- Pandora uses it to hurt Ikki and knock him to the ground
- Pandora uses it on a 5 year old Ikki
Other
- Loves his original body and keeps it sealed in Elysium
- Chooses the purest human on the planet, like Alone or Shun to be his host.
Conclusion
As shown, Hades is INSANELY Powerful, and has power far above the Universe Busting Athena Exclamation, with MFTL+ Speeds and the cosmos to support at least 3 (more likely along the lines of 10 if we assume all of the prisons really are universal in size as claimed) universe sized structures on a higher dimensional plane than Earth, as well as gaining the power of Cronus adding at least another Multi-Universe addition to his power if not Multiversal as he claims to be able to destroy "All of existence without exception" And Saint Seiya is established to be a multiverse.
