Benimaru Shinmon, Asakusa's King of Destruction

"So, just you wait, I shall bring destruction!"

Benimaru is the captain of the Special Fire Force Company 7, a company that drastically varies from the other companies in the Special Fire Force, and tries to retain its traditional Japanese culture as much possible, as they hold strong contempt for the Tokyo Empire and the Holy Sol Church.

Pyrokinesis

Benimaru is a hybrid second and third generation pyrokinetic, allowing him to ignite his own flames, as well as control them and those of other source. He doesn't have a unique ignition ability like other third-generations do, instead, he uses a style of fighting known as the Iai Hand-Sword, a series of moves that have been seen being used by Benimaru, and his former master, Hibachi.

Flight

• Uses matoi to fly.

• Launches himself and a matoi into a demon to get it away from the city.

• Capable of sending his matoi off while staying behind to fight himself.

• Gets sent flying by Hibachi but recovers before hitting the water.

Fire Power

• Cuts bullets out of the air, and hits Hinawa and Arthur from range.

• Uses his flames in a cloud created by one of Obi's extinguisher grenades.

  • Obi's grenades have shut down third generation's abilities before.

• Destroys a demon infernal but nearly reaches his limit for overheating.

  • His attack was stated to be at the same level of power as Konro's move that destroyed a demon, which left a large crater in the ground.

• Sends people flying with a fire blast.

  • Sends more people flying.

• Rapid-fire fire attacks.

• Sends multiple people flying with one slice.

• His clash with Hibachi rocks the ocean around them.

• Matches Hibachi blow for blow.

• His clash with Hibachi produces a blinding light.

• Destroys the demon Hibachi.

Launching Objects

• Destroys several houses with a thrown matoi.

• Ignites various objects around him and launches them.

• Levitates part of a building.

• Pummels a demon with several matoi.

Fire Control

• After Maki tries to take control of his flames, he reasserts control.

• Stops bullets, and redirects them.

• Stops and redirects a demon's fire blast.

• Condenses the propulsion of flame to increase its speed and power.

• Repels attacks from several individuals by controlling all the heat in a 4-meter radius.

• Repels a counter-attack from Charon.

• Deflects a portion of a massive blast from Hibachi.

Durability

Blunt

• Only bleeds after a headbutt from Obi.

  • Obi can one-tap third generation pyrokinetics and crack the ground.

• Gets sent flying by Hibachi but doesn't appear injured.

Heat

• Deflects Arthur's sword multiple times.

  • Arthur can slice through metal and stone.

• Completely unphased by a massive attack.

Other Esoterics

• Poison barely has an effort on him.

• Unaffected by a halincogenic that made another man see various copies of Joker.

  • Anime version of that scene.

Endurance

• Spars with Shinra and Arthur for over five hours and is ready to keep going.

Strength

• Stabs through the chest of an infernal that was unharmed after several matoi were thrown at it.

• Slices through a polearm.

• Kicks a door off its hinge.

Speed

Movement

• Gets behind Shinra before he realizes what's up.

• Faster than Shinra's Rapid.

• High-speed fight in the sky.

Reactions

• Stops multiple sets of bullets fired at him.

• Blocks Shinra's Rapid.

Fighting Skill

• Dodges blows from Maki and throws her into Shinra.

• Avoids a slash from Arthur.

• Reverses a takedown from Obi.

• Parries Arthur and Shinra, then repels them.

• Kicks Arthur without looking.

• Takes on a group of assassins by himself.

• Uses his elbow to break an arm.

Misc.

• Teaches Arthur to read the "Breath of Life," a way of sensing enemies and killing intent.

• Is regarded as the strongest fire soldier and him stepping up convinces Captain Burns to back down from a fight.

• Benimaru uses various hand signs to further control his power.

Neither, I was on comic vines look at matchups for Benimaru from Fire Force and a link brought me to this respect thread where I just so happened to look at the comments, and then I found you.
